Burren Energy PLC22 January 2007 Burren Energy plc ("Company") PDMR Share Dealings On 19 January 2007, Brian Thurley, the Company's Technical Director, exercisedthe following share options and deferred share. These comprised, 100,000ordinary shares arising from options awarded on 29 March 2000 under theExecutive Share Option Scheme at a price of $0.60, 107,692 ordinary sharesfollowing a call related to an award on 11 December 2003 under the PerformanceShare Plan ("PSP") and 31,352 ordinary shares following a call related to anaward on 31 March 2004 under the Annual Profit Sharing Scheme ("APSS"). The new shares issued pursuant to the exercise of options, PSP and APSS awardswill be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London StockExchange's market for listed securities pursuant to the Company's block listingauthority. Following this transaction, Mr Thurley is interested in 637,680 ordinary shares,representing 0.45 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
