Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Beale PLC is pleased to announce that Simon Peters has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 28 April 2010.
Simon joined Panther Securities PLC in 2004 and became a director in June 2005. Between 1999 and 2004 Simon was with KPMG.
On 18 February 2010 the Company announced that Panther Securities PLC and Mr Perloff held 29.72% of the Company's issued share capital. At the AGM on 18 March the Company added: "Since [the February] announcement was made we have met Mr Perloff. He shares the Board's ambition to increase the size of the Group and would be keen to help facilitate such growth if it is possible to do so. There are no specific proposals to bring to you at this time, but we shall of course make a further announcement if and when it is appropriate to do so."
Mike Killingley, Chairman, said "we are pleased to welcome Simon Peters to the Beale Board".
There are no further details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the listing rules.
