Altona Resources PLC13 March 2006 Altona Resources Plc ("Altona" or "the Company") Appointment of Royal Bank of Scotland Altona Resources Plc (AIM:ANR) today announces that The Royal Bank of Scotland("RBS"), has been engaged to arrange debt finance for the development of theArckaringa Coal Project ("Project") and for other strategic corporate purposes. RBS, in its capacity as financial adviser to the Company, will work closely withAltona to source and arrange the necessary finance in line with its corporateobjectives.
