Golden Prospect PLC03 July 2006 (AIM: GOL) Ambrian Partners Appoints Michael Armitage As Head of Equity Research LONDON, 3 July, 2006 - Ambrian Partners Ltd ("Ambrian" or "the Company"), theinvestment banking arm of Golden Prospect plc ("Golden Prospect") todayannounced that Michael Armitage has been appointed as Head of Equity Research. Michael Armitage will bring to the Company in-depth specialist expertise withinthe telecommunications industry. It will also mark the broadening of Ambrian'sindustry expertise from natural resources into new industry sectors, which showthe same potential for high growth and where Ambrian feels it will be able toprovide superior equity research to its clients. Michael has been involved in the telecommunications industry for the past 26years and was previously Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in London. Michaelspent 15 years at Morgan Stanley and was a founder member of the Equity Researchdepartment, where he headed the European and Global Telecoms Research Team.Michael was also Head of Global Telecoms Strategy where he led a large team ofanalysts. Prior to working with Morgan Stanley, Michael was Head of the UK ElectronicsResearch team at James Capel and an electronics analyst at Laing andCruickshank. Michael holds an honours degree in English from Reading Universityand an MSc (Sloan) from the London Business School.
