Acorn Income Fund Limited (the "Company")
Transaction in own shares
The Company announces that on 12 May 2011 it purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares of no par value each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price per share of 192 pence each.
The Ordinary Shares purchased will be held by the Company as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares held by the Company in treasury will be 215,000.
All shareholders have equal voting rights based on the number of shares held. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 8,724,790 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Services Authority's Listing Rules.
