Advance Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting
In accordance with the Company's discount management provisions, Ashmore Global Opportunities Limited announces that, on 16 February 2012, shares representing 75% or more of the Net Asset Value of the Company had traded at an average discount to Net Asset Value of greater than 10%, measured over a 365 day period. Accordingly, an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company will be convened on 7 June 2012 at which a resolution will be proposed setting out proposals to wind up, reorganise or reconstruct the Company.
