Result of AGM and CEO statement
The Company announces that at its Annual General Meeting held today all resolutions were duly passed. In addition, the CEO of ADVFN, Clem Chambers, made the following statement:
We think 2013 will be a pivotal year for the markets and we have positioned ourselves to take advantage of the early stages of a global economic recovery and the need of private investors around the world to manage their investments .
2012 has been a year of developments for ADVFN. We have enhanced our offering and we have made good progress in broadening our international businesses particularly in the US and Japan.
We are very pleased how we have performed against the current economic background and we feel this affirms our business model and its product mix. This has been buttressed by new product, developing territories and global diversification.
2012 has seen the successful release of our mobile platform which is proving popular internationally and we will be generating more comment and news next year to further enhance our sites.
We see strong potential for growth in 2013
