SirG Absolutely. LC knows his stuff and he is close close to all of it. Last summer he said that SMLs will be now approved by the Cabinet. There wasn't anything on it anywhere in legislation or press comments. Until now LC seems to be speaking to the right folks, Very reassuring!!
Interesting update by Peak R, one of the other two SML applicants https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/PEK/01991252.pdf weeks not months. End of Q2 anyone? "...The Minister confirmed that following the official inauguration of the Mining Commission on the 30 May 2018 she has instructed the Commission to commence processing the pending SML application as quickly as possible. Minister Kairuki informed Mr. Stanfield that she is expecting to be able to present the applications to the cabinet for final approval in a matter of weeks ..."
Also, this is an interesting sentence from the annual results "...Although the PPA has not been signed at the date of issue of the Annual Financial Statements ... " Does it mean that it is really imminent and it will be at the time the annual report is discussed next , ie agm? Ties in nicely with the Q2 deadline in the updated corporate presentation, as the agm will be now earliest in mid July. Mmmmm. This is probably why LC looked so relaxed on Monday. I never seen him so agreeable
Lurker5 aka John Why would increase in share cap would be bad news for the share price?!? I am with JD on that, I think he is waiting for the PPA . Other possibilities are that he might want to combine agm with Investor event, so needs to organise a few things. Or just ensuring diaries work - he will need to travel from SA, also the Chairman will need to there.
https://www.madini.go.tz/tanzania-na-australia-kuendeleza-ushirikiano-sekta-ya-madini/ Shows the willingness to engage with the mining industry "Minister Kairuki directed the mission from Australia to submit formal proposals to the Government if there are any area in the mining industry that experts think need to be adjusted, so that experts could review and see whether they were productive on both sides, and then to make decisions."
SirG I will be away most of the time after next week, so quite likely to miss Kibo agm - a week in Las Vegas, a week back in UK but super busy and three weeks in Turkey and region! I will nominate you to vote my shares at the agm!
