It is a bit early to start claiming billions of barrels at HH. I would like it to be, but if we only have to have the spoken word as proof, what is the point of flow testing and extent of the field testing !
Eldorado. Another way to look at it, is that a council would welcome the government stepping. The advantage to them is that they appear to be the big brave defender of the rights of the democratic rights of their local flock being over-ruled by the big monster government. That sort of thing goes down well with the idiot mentality, who see it as their democratic right to block it. That belief fails to address the fact that the government, in overruling them, is representing the rights of a much larger majority. Thus, the consequence of a local council trying to block something of national interest by claiming that it is a local issue and it is their democratic right to block it, is really acting undemocratically
Problem is that the NLCC do not want it. They are left wing and don't like success (people will make money out of this !) ! They could easily have let EDR application go through if they had wished. They will come up with anything now to block it, I suggest that they have not covered where the crew are going to put the discarded wrappings of their lunch-time sandwiches. Not mention sightings of the very rare redwinged-black-as'd-yellow billed warbler nesting right on the spud-in point
I know that you don't like anybody to comment, unless it is to tell the others that this share is on the cusp of being worth a mint. But, see that little triangle at the side. It points down, meaning the share is going down. That is what the stock market. Thats hundreds of people and investment analysts, and shares draftsmen, banks, finance houses and research thinks of this share at the moment. These are people paid 8 hours per day, every day of their working lives, to study shares, and they say 'down' ! Of course Biscathorpe is a hope for us all, but at the moment it is all intuition, hope and as long as a piece string statistics. So it is a long odds gamble and money we can spend just before we go to sleep each night.Still not enough though, I have spent the theoretical earnings several times over. So if you could please ramp and 10 pps, I would be most grateful . Thanks
Mixter, yep you are notorious . I realise that your are desperate to make money and don't want anybody to point out what is fact and what is fiction, but you have to use common sense now and again. Please also, don't use stock market terms such as ramping and deramping that you do not fully understand. These are shares at less than one penny. To ramp and deramp, you have to have access to the media and you have to be regarded as credible. Joe Soap sitting on a pile of next to nothing value shares can neither ramp nor deramp. Nobody is going to take any notice of his/her opinions or if he/she buys and sells. In effect, this share price is controlled by share interest and currently that interest is rock bottom. However, unless there is a stock market miracle then this SP is not going to rocket 9000% or 90,000%. The unpalatable truth is that at any stage (probably the 1st stage) that these shares are supported by income, then the company will have little choice but to consolidate. Sorry if you feel this is deramping, but this
is how the stock market works 'mate'
Well the rampers have daydreams and they are entitled to them, but we have to look logically at this share it is currently worth 0.1025 of a single penny ! It would have to break stock market records to get to £1 per share and there would be millionaires/multi millionaires all over the place. There just ain't that much money around. It may rise gradually but it will swing back and forth as people who invested as little as £100 take profits. No company wants that and they will consolidated the SP at, at least 50 to 1, but more likely above 100 to 1. Their aim will be to set the SP at, at least, 50 pence per share. They can't do it yet because they have nothing to underpin the current SP and nobody much would shell out 50 pps for a company that has no income. The thing to do, of course, if one believes that the company will come good, is to buy enough shares so that you do not end up owning just 100, after a consolidation
I am not saying that this is happening here, or even likely to happen here. But, there were a lot of allegations just before the turn of the century:- To the-effect that there was some suspicion with some companies created solely to bid for a big project contracts, that it was not entirely sincere. The finger was pointed that it didn't matter too much to the higher level in the company whether they could complete the contract on time and on budget. Effectively they would still have been getting director's salaries for upwards of three years, or so.
It can't be helped if he has trouble understanding English, the words can get mixed up in the mind of somebody so afflicted I will just tell him this last time. A flow test is not a capacity test, it is an indication of what is down there, not a fact until proven ! Also, if the DoB is that smart, why have they had their applications bunged out by NLCC three times on technical details. Seismic tests do not prove the presence of oil in place, they indicate that there could be oil in place and if so how big the resevoir may be (the whole of the South Falklands basin was reckoned to be brim full of oil after some very expensive seismics .Angus and UKOG reckoned on a bonanza in West Sussex) The magnificent HH, highest yielding on-shore single bore hole ever in the UK is still not not proven.). He has to learn that quotes such as we We believe; We think; There is possibly; The indications are;It is predicted; The probability is; In my opinion; Report; Said to be; Evidence suggests; It is strongly supported;Maybe; etc etc etc are not facts. They are all opinions to which the person who said them cannot be held responsible if they fail to transfer into fact ! The English lesson is not for you 'Term.' I am invested in here, too. Mixster's claim of having inside knowledge not known to the rest of the oil-world. If that is the case, I wonder why doesn't he share it, it would undoubtedly set the SP into a 80 degree climb, from which we would all benefit @
Well one has to maintain some hope. 2 Million is grossly underfunded for oil exploration, and they are still an exploration company. They will not benefit( in the company accounts) from oil coming out of the ground for at least one year, even if all goes well. Meantime they have rent and rates to pay and salaries to find and exploration to pay for £2 million Pounds is chicken feed. I do not take about researching, when you appear to be covering £2 million as untold wealth. I note also that you slated off a previous contributor here. Even Wresstle is still at the speculative stage they cannot guarantee the 700 brpd. None of the other fields are as advanced as that. So, it is running 'informed', but not necessarily accurate speculation ! Only about one in five wells actually go commercial (witness the recent UKOG debacle at BB - and they had 1400 ft of oil play down-hole, too,.) So please stop telling people to do their research, the only concrete 'as it it known of this moment, plus speculation of what it could be (If). Speculation and 2D and 3D are not proof of commercial OIP , they all rely on the word 'if' at some point.Of course, if you have personally dug a hole deep enough to prove there is commercial oil down there, then you will have proved your point re-research. Otherwise, you know nothing more than the rest of of INCLUDING THE COMPANY !
Can't see that £2m is a vast sum in oil company terms, how it pans out is how much is their involvement going to cost between now and 'first oil', plus unknowns in between. A gut, but uncounted feeling suggests to me that they would be a lot safer with £5m, or they might have to borrow against new issues :((
A typical government evasive response . If you pick it open you will see that they have agreed to speed up the process, but have done nothing that will speed up the process. A good start would be a single application be sent, air the same time to all of the agencies involved . Why for example does the UKOGA have to scrutinise financial viability. If I start a corner shop I do not have to ask the planning authority to scrutinise my bank account. The real problem is that too many agencies are involved and the each engage in mission creep into each other's territory. In fact Government ministers should be ashamed of themselves. Some 7 years into shale nobody yes has a full production licence . Yet, the overpaid underworked clots sit there talking about 'identifying' local authorities who are underperforming ! in respect to on-shore oil and gas, they are all underperforming and the reason for that is inactivity by the Government
Don't say Ian Crane is back ? He has plagued Share Chat Rooms across the board. The blue on the Share Trades is rather heavy this morning, it makes me wonder if this share has been tipped or written glowingly about in a financial column somewhere in the world.Or, some people know something that the hoi poloi have yet to learn !
What does matter, of course, is the size of the pool at HH, it could well be a pocket or it could be an accumulation. Since they only have indications from the surface, but not facts ! Perhaps they could drill a wide hole and lower a Competent Person, or SS, down it to root around at the bottom and fill a few jam jars down there . Speculation is a wonderful thing but facts are facts, and they do not have any at those at the moment
I don't know if I have misread something. but weren't we being told that there was a solid accumulation nearly 29 kms long and 1.400 feet deep in places and figures of 100 million barrels were bandied about. Now we seem to be down to 21 million barrels. Presumably they had Competent Person's Reports on the fields before ? So what are we to believe and what are we to think too ?
Well it is very difficult to get the SP to rise dramatically, unless of course something dramatic happens like a TO. The difficulty is that this SP has been almost nothing for months and people have been able to buy a couple of million shares for 1.5k . All things being equal it will take some time to raise the base line to say 0.50, but at those sort of prices then people are tripling their input so as the deal is to make money, they sell and nobody can blame them, but it does mean the the SP will seesaw. Its frustrating for the long-haul holders, but there you are that is share dealing
