Was the writing on the wall after the dissolution of KIC? Love to hear your views on "other ways to progress the KSK CoW"
Thank you. Yes TRC has been up but mostly down but their difficulties are long dated. Indeed the Tiger Group structure look very ambitious. It comes from the very top and It is well served by their MD . Tony Manini probably took great satisfaction and enjoyment setting all that up and just like you said, with him in charge... there will be changes. I will let everyone however decide for themselves if he is really convincing.
I find it hard to accept that's how it will end up after 30 years of so much hope prayers and sacrifices by so many. I regularly pass by Darling Harbour and am remainded every time of otherthings that could have been. Feel very flat at the moment.
Do/should management need shareholders approval before embarking on such important agreement?
Firstly in 2007 with Oxiana secondly in 2011 with Tiger realm minerals So why now a third time with Tiger realm copper? Owen Hegarty is a man in a hurry ( his 2 previous joint ventures with KLG ended up pretty rapidly) but he is also known to be an ambitious man. I wrote those lines here 3 years ago. I had a suspicion that he had not gone away. ...Is he not the man who at a press conference in 2008 said about KSK....... " WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
Anyone who watched the BBC documentary "I bought my own rainforest" may see some paralel.
nicely said! It seems to me so much second guessing may indeed prove Caldecott's point.
Thank you for point it out. Indeed I meant the team had little " capital" ie poor in monetary term but were rich in integrity. That was the key to their success.
I agree with you and thank you for pointing (at the time) those appointments shortcomings. You have been in business yourself, I would guess, and know how critical for any organisation that positions are filled by the right person. Be independent or not . Mansur and company had little or no capital and yet have achieved some 55 million dollars worth of exploration expenditure. Maybe it is time for a change of the guards, I do not know, but whoever comes on board have to possess qualities required to ensure continuing success. In KLG present circumstances I would say mining industry and finance knowledge for sure .But knowledge can be pooled or outsourced . The drive and determination to succeed qualities essential to reach the goal cannot be underestimated (nor overestimated) as it remain within the individual.
How truly independent a director be when he owns shares in that company? I reckon what is needed is more people like Faldi . Smart, dedicated and heart in the right place. Every exploration company who want to find its place in the sun need driven people . Anyone in for a little bludge need not apply.
Those of us following this venture a very long time are not the least surprised. This is only the very beginning.... ... go to the Company webpage and see for yourself. ""A review of historical data on the project using state of the art techniques and processes has confirmed the potential for major copper deposits below the level of drilling to date.""
