I think if anything it’s Government wanting it to be zero carbon emissions, rather than the boilers physically cannot run on anything other than “green hydrogen”. The term is just because it’s hydrogen generated without giving off any CO2, blue hydrogen gives off SOME CO2 and then other colours give off more and more apparently. There is a chance this product could be “blue hydrogen”, but blue hydrogen is pretty damn good too from what I’ve just googled, the fact this hydrogen product is made from using non-recyclable plastics will mean there is still going to be a huge market for it I think, boilers will be a huge deal for us here, but it should still be massively profitable in future even if it doesn’t power the world’s boilers.
