@Peace
Your post and others about websites of companies reminded me of a website (link below) that showed the transition of company websites from their early days to now. https://www.versionmuseum.com/history-of/amazon-website
Though it was interesting in the context
Syme is in very early days too.
@Sheikybaby: Your post just now where you wrote " but why can people not post something without being labelled a ramper or deramper?"
With all due respect, that is double standards / hypocritical since you posted:

RE: Can see ask moing up again...07 Oct 2020 13:21
Because he's a ramper I expect.
Just spotted this and echo Weathergeek completely. Apunter2 is a well respected informative poster that ever since I have joined has helped me and many alike learn and understand SYME and in general. Having gone out of his way and in his own time post to help all genuine investors.
Apunter2 even had the common decency to engage known de-rampers listed in Weathergeeks post and competently post informed responses to their deliberate doubt creating posts, which I would not have the patience for in the slightest. So he did not deserve how they targeted him.
@Apunter2 - A lot of us here appreciate immensely your contributions and for one I want to see them continue (help me out here)
To the rets of us please do not engage them at all.
No one on this BB was part of the tender process.
No one knows how many companies, what size took part. who was invited and who was not.
Who declined and who took part and who was rejected and why. Big or small auditing firms.
No one knows the scope of the tender or the key objectives, evaluation criteria .
major auditors could have come second or may not.
it is all speculation unless you know a lot of the abive
So why all this noise! and questions.
if you want to know why GT declined...email them.
Here is a Gov.UK link that tells you:
You do not pay tax on:
- interest on cash in an ISA
- income or capital gains from investments in an ISA
- If you complete a tax return, you do not need to declare any ISA interest, income or capital gains on it.
https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/how-isas-work
Polycomc4 post is purely made up nonsense of someone with a agenda or someone who ain't got a clue. Rest assured no CGT on ISA
I am with Interactive Investor: depending on which package / subscription you chose; each transaction is £3.99 for Share package or if you choose fund investor package it is £7.99. You do get 2/3 free transactions per month
Monthly subscription/ account fee applies - but you can have one account and under that have your childrens ISA's linked, but one account / subscription per adult
- I cannot fault it for live prices, spreads, etc. Always bang on.
- Not great for analysis, stock / fund screener info, insights, technical graphs etc
- No auto trading software
- Does do ISA's and trading accounts so that is a plus. And setting them up / transferring from existing is straight forward
- Customer Service is good - no complaints.
I want to try IG next, as interactive investor has it's pos / neg - but from what I read maybe not as good as IG
@mickluv,
Just wanted to share this from twitter and see if it helps at all (not sure it is right given what has been said re some shares belong to Finance Partners Group)

Love the fact that the bashers on this BB still cannot get me to sell a single share and they been trying for months / weeks with thousands of posts. Nothing yet to convince me and wont. I will wait to see how the business grows and performance.
Keep trying and wasting your time, for me it is a right old laugh.
all bashers feel free to reply but i wont respond to you.
@Thaiflyer1
Don't take it personally, that was a general post to all for awareness of stock bashers. I did not mention you specifically.
If I post superficially to someone I will make it clear and usually include their ID.
https://www.guerillainvesting.co.uk/2009/12/15/stock-bashers-3/
Lesson 5
Bashers know that you can’t verify their statements. That’s why they make the statements they do. You can’t check them out and you may just believe them and then they win. Either way, they don’t lose.
Lesson 9
Bashers will try to create doubt and get you to research items that they know will lead to the creation of doubt in you and in other stockholders. A typical trick of an advanced basher is to propose that there is a potential “problem” because “we” don’t have the facts on a particular subject. The basher dares someone in the group to find out the answer to the question. The basher already knows the answer and knows what you will find. The power of this tactic is that the basher is now in control of the actions of the stockholders; the basher has you in his web of lies. Most stockholders will do due diligence when confronted with a questionable news story. When the stockholder cannot confirm or deny the story because of too much conflicting information, the basher gains credibility.
@Savvy
I respect your personal decision to not post again. I have to say big thankyou for all your input, shared knowledge and research effort. It will be missed and a loss for this BB and hope you reconsider.
Best of luck and respect either way.
Echo the respect for Apunter and Weathergeak.
@Redbox: Thank you for your posts and the link which is a great read and so true.
