Strongman you need to manage your finances in a way your happy with. Me i am not nervous at all, I am however a little frustrated at the indication of an rns on Monday, and now its Thursday and nothing. I hate it when people over promise and under deliver, and aaog do that in barrel fulls. Geology remains the same and the drill is still turning so will continue to hold.
Think its a good idea to have fse first, gives the keyboard warriors time to get it out of their system so we can have a reasonable conference call and ask pertinent questions as the questions like shouldn't we have delayed te10 will have been answered... Again.
Personally getting fed up reading comments aimed at crudehope. We are all responsible for our money, congratulations crude on paying your mortgage, I remember the conversations here and you seemed to be in two minds at the time, but it was definitely the right option. Crude is enthusiastic about sound as am I and many others, enthusiasm is infectious, but if others invest based on enthusiasm alone then more fool them. We all have the same information to make decisions from. Personally I believe sound will come good in the end. Im expecting small gas shows at te10 as I expect they changed the trajectory of the drill to pick up the lower value gas pocket to try and regain some credibility and add value. And te11 will blow the doors off because they're all working like Christmas elves to derisk 11. Good luck all invested.
Normally I would agree but the shares have fallen due to shenanigans over the last year and are perhaps very oversold. I have been very sceptical about aaog but even I have been impressed with the way the have adapted to drilling issues and getting rid of sandabel. I still have concerns about the running of the company and funding but 20p plus on r1 and mengo is well deserved with the low shares in issue.
Thanks harrychristna, I hadn't read that before, very nice.
Theoretically this is underpinned much higher on the current discovery, so any buy down here is a bagging opportunity. To buy may be the only way to get our money back if there are 3 dust.......s
When are we expecting guidance on sales and orders, March at the interims? And do we expect these to be just ok as the rainy season stops sales to a degree, and so full year figures in September 2019 for proper guidance on year 1?
Agree echo is a good bet, and once I have made my money here will move cash accross. Bearing in mind the connection between sou and echo and the likelihood of sou shareholders moving to sound on success, you would expect echo holders to be desperate for sou success.
The bile on this board is awful at the moment, one bad drill, thats all. Yes the share price sucks but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it and I would rather we carried on than jp et al resigning due to threats and stress. Reign it in, go for a walk, chill out, the next 2 drills will be done witgin months and we will know exactly where we are then. Lets face it, most of your money is already gone so we may as well get on with it and find something to bring it back.
Mid December spud and TD around 40 days.
My last top up at 6.7. Should have bought earlier and fully expect it to drop on close. But hopefully we will be drilling Monday so up from this level. Good luck all.
My Take. this drill had a 70% chance of failure, but we were all hype up given the seismics and confident of success. We know the reality of the situation now. GSA etc will come but our futures here lie with 2 more drills. so lets stop abusing the BOD whoever that is, grow a pair and see what happens in the next 2 drills and i am now fully expecting TE10 to be a flop and TE11 to be our saviour. LE straight after.
Drule I concurr with your assessment. Jp leaving the ship would be disastrous. Hope the plan b they talked about are ready.
I expect the team are inputting what they have learnt into their model to try and work out how that effects their river theory on hydrocarbons. TE10 is apparently seperate but still In that hydrocarbon river. Looking more like a puddle at the moment. Fingers crossed te10 saves us or jp et al announce a better prospect based on the new info from te9.
OK, result is rubbish, next target is seperate from te9, pad is ready, drill is being dismantled as we speak and will be assembled quickly now its been oiled up. Best foot forward, up from the ashes grow the roses of success, so onward to glory we go... Anyone else!
Love all these idiots who turn up to rub salt in the wounds. Ignore these bottom feeders, we all knew the risk of a duster and we invested accordingly, I will still be here for the next 2 drills and if one of those hits I will be very happy. Until then don't poke the scum bags who love making others unhappy. We all could be rich with the benefit of hindsight.
Rubbish news, 2 opportunities down, 4 to go, tagi on te10 looks large and if that comes in all our worries will be over, but the team need to work out how they got it so wrong here. Not happy but chin up.
I expect we will get a less than satisfying Rns to kick the 'we're going to be rich' moment down the road. I expect it to read like we are pleased to say hydrocarbons found, we will test if commercial later as the rig is currently being dismantled to go to te10. I really hope we get the news we want but gut feeling with company wanting to keep info close to their chest is we wont, so I hope we get enough info to give confidence.
The sea on the south coast is so sandy you will need some sort of active sonar to get around.
Hopefully a good news rns Monday ( rather than a rns after hours today)!
