Listen to our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode 'Uncovering opportunities with investment trusts' with The AIC's Richard Stone here.
Rupert, yes indeed lessons learnt, don’t be too hard on yourself and your judgement, you and the rest in our position probably were correct - I usually expect some integrity and honesty from those I enter into business with - a reciprocal agreement usually, in this instance we have been taught that unfortunately on AIM anything absolutely can be got away with, investors fleeced without apparently any recompense. I think it will go down in history with other famous failures, and possibly come the day of reckoning be examined for deficiencies in levels of expected honesty and good practice, won’t do us any good though.
rog, a **** storm of various contributing factors in my opinion, each assisting the other in pushing the share price down so unnecessarily and incessantly
, but if there had been a different spin from the company, we wouldn’t be where we are now. vultures pick over the weak and wounded, that weakness came from the board, in my opinion.
Don’t see it Skippy, just at a penny your wonga buys a lot more shares ! Same action as when the price was 10p and we were seeing 100k trades.
Yep, I reckon this is all over bar the shouting, I can’t see any meaningful shareholder action at the AGM , so resolutions will just get stamped through.
Over necessary staffing levels given our position, they’ll keep their snouts in the trough as long as they can / whilst seeking other gainful employment before the final nail, really depressing and actually a bad advertisement for Tanzanian exploration the way it’s been smashed on the rocks.
Finally got my head around a £30k loss, not easy to do but at least we live to fight another day. Sad for the even longer term holders from pre HE1 who finally saw some hope. I personally hope those that have driven the company to the edge rot in hell and remember this for the rest of their hopefully short and painful lives, not angry at all !!
Who is going ?
I wasn’t going to bother, but given where we are now at , think I may take a trip down to the bright lights.
Yep Skit that’s a list and a half of questions and concerns. Sadly I don’t think we will get anything out of this bunch, AGM will just be orchestrated, does the chairman even exist ? Share price crashes and he goes awol.
Not good enough , any of it, such a large % of private investors supporting this debacle of a company , we really should appoint 1 person, give them our backing to address our concerns, and get to the bottom of what is going on, before it’s too late.
No point speculating I guess, but i don’t trust them . If this in anyway stinks I am amazed Lorna is getting mixed up in it at her point in life. Easy for LTH to start crowd funding for legal action.
That will make for an interesting HE1 AGM.
How current trading and this cannot be fraudulent, maybe time we LTH did a little crowd funding of our own and employ a lawyer to look into this in our interests.

Juno, keep taking the tablets. If I had a pound for
Everytime someone had said this shares at its bottom, I wouldn’t need to be working anymore, that’s why LTH aren’t buying in anymore. Just when you think it’s bottomed Lorna speaks and there she blows - down another 50% down lol.
I’m think it’s more likely they find Elvis working in a chip shop on Mars than this bunch of malakas (Greek) posting anything remotely positive. Sadly. It’s not in their being.
It’s also interesting that there was apparently the huge spat between Minch & Stalker, with Stalker then so up beat about the whole thing only to sell up and disappear just a few months later. It does all stink, 10p to a penny through pure manipulation, absolutely blatant to me, given Copes experience in similar ah!t shows and coming away from that without investigation does make you wonder .
No mention of going back to tai to finish the depth in the new interview anyway , don’t know why she bothered
Same here No1, my outlook isn’t so positive, dilution is on the way at 1.5p, amazed at the people buying this today at 2p+ knowing that . Probably will be a buy out for the assets at some stage. Should have jumped when IS did and taken that hit. Company has been terribly run and advised in my opinion. Expensive lesson to have learnt. But no point crying over spilt milk.
“We hit it out the park” Justyn says , interesting interview, technology already in use and not a difficult process to release the helium, be amazed if there isn’t some action on their so tomorrow, good luck to them. E
RP, good move, hope they answer in a timely fashion, if not that’s definitely one for the AGM.
Wyn, yeah, He1 has more irons in the fire it seems, just needs some positive spin. Interesting I thought that Nobel are stacking the rig there for future use, so they must have plans and be relatively confident of resuming something early next year as guess there is a cost for them there.
Many thanks for the link goldy, helps understand it.
But wow - our very close neighbours all but declare a discovery and HE1 goes down lol, really can’t make this up. Crazy.
So Noble mention their apparent discovery in Ruckwa, which has to be positive news with regards to proving up the whole basin, but are there any chemists out there that can advise what the helium could have exsolved into ? Helium seems not to want to join with any other elements especially water , so what could the helium be been carried in ?? I did ask for a.chemists answer , so no derampers just saying mud, thanks .
Cheers as usual Skit. Today is the first Sunday of Advent, and signifies Hope !! I will be lighting a candle later, and sending a prayer, not too late yet for St Lorna to put a turkey on tiny Tim’s table 😳😁
