Why would a company paint the bleakest picture of its self and dilute at an unreasonably low price when it knew this announcement was just around the corner? I held but feel very sorry for those that did not.
Sorry to read you are leaving this BB. I believe your views have been well balanced over the years and your input will be missed.

HollyF2000, would be interested to learn your views on what needs to be done differently at APC?
We all share your grief but I think that management know perfectly well what shareholders want since they hold significant quantities themselves. Have you seen the AGM presentation which is posted on the investor relations page?
Company doing great but we will have to wait until the shares are in demand before the SP moves. I read somewhere we have gone from a 12m loss to an expected 1.6m profit in 3 years but the SP has actually fallen over that time!
The Chairman has bought 2.7% of APC over his tenure and the CEO 1.8% and the price has not moved in that time. I wonder why?
Thanks Malcom and Fred for the AGM update. Between the two of you you have caused the shares to rise :-)
Were you or Fred with his plastic bag there? Any more talk on future acquisitions?
Very strange. If I log into my premium account it shows up but not otherwise. A few oddities with LSE. If a share transaction is delayed then it does not show in the total buys/sells and today’s buys were delayed by around an hour.
Extract from FCA rules regarding TR1's
A person must notify the issuer of the percentage of its voting rights he holds as shareholder or holds or is deemed to hold through his direct or indirect holding of financial instruments falling within DTR 5.3.1R (1) (or a combination of such holdings) if the percentage of those voting rights:
(1) reaches, exceeds or falls below 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10% and each 1% threshold thereafter up to 100% (or in the case of a non-UK issuer on the basis of thresholds at 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 50% and 75%) as a result of an acquisition or disposal of shares or financial instruments falling within DTR 5.3.1 R; or
(2) reaches, exceeds or falls below an applicable threshold in (1) as a result of events changing the breakdown of voting rights and on the basis of information disclosed by the issuer in accordance with DTR 5.6.1 Rand DTR 5.6.1A R;
Fred, this is saying when a shareholder of more than 3% goes through a 1% barrier. So I believe either someone is not adhering to FCA rules or more than 1 seller.
For some reason that is what the MM's want us to believe!!!
If you take the reported sales as gospel you would believe 2.7m share sales this year v's 1.1m buys (0.2m unspecified).
I have bought over this period at 6.3p so the truth would appear to be more like 1.7m sales v's 2.3m buys.
They must be getting short of shares leading up to the AGM so anything could happen to prise more shares out of weak hands.

Absolutely. Yes please ask the question if you go and if no chocolate biscuits I'll be happy to send you one ;-)
Interesting observation. They did not appear in the F17 accounts so fair to assume they added last year but why no TR1 on purchase?
Nothing on the APC website but an installation update on twitter. They appear to be convincing several councils that APC is the way forward for massive energy savings.

I think the bottom just fell out of the glass!
The results and current years forecast warrant a price of at least 10p unless there is something nasty lurking that us mere mortals are unaware of. Should be an interesting AGM and hopefully some very probing questions for the Board.
Thinking back to last year I believe a couple of posters were there. If they can confirm their attendance this year maybe we could post a few questions for them to ask if they are willing?
Hi Bob, Put me down for 20p please.
Happy New Year,
Sahid
Good post Rivaldo. All it will need is a positive trading update with some meat on the bones leading up to the AGM
Agree with Fred, Mr R, Allthatglitters. Excellent results and if on main market a rise would have been seen. As said before this is Aim, tainted by a graveyard full of companies that came to the market in a less than honest way. And then of course our country held hostage by a bunch of self interested MPs. There is a guy GHF who writes on the ADVFN board talks a lot of sense and well worth a look. Batten down the hatches for three months and could then be a completely different story.
By my calculations they have to increase the Ask soon as it appears the low cost Mm shares are almost out unless they are working through a large sell order.
Red lost almost 6m in the first half of the current year so maybe another couple of months then major problem if no major business or a partner/buyer has transpired.
