One could argue yesterday's rise was people getting in for anticipation of new restaurants/ locations. As they say buy on speculation sell on news (if trading).
Hopefully this isn't the only new location for this month!
RSI about to hit 60 on the Daily view. MACD also showing positive so chart looking good for some momentum. Though as per any small cap stock....news outweighs chart technicals here so wouldn't relay purely on that.
Though for those who do like a good chart.....last time the RSI went to 60 having bounced off RSI of 30 SP went from 2.5p to 9p ;).
Do like strategy and fundamentals for a LTH. My concern is if they have £10m in bank from last raise, hostels like Pisa costing €3m+....revenue generation won't cover 6+ new hostels without more funding needed? Any correction on thought process welcome as am looking for entry
You can say management cost you because of delays..... but buying when the RSI is nearly 100 will always be massive gamble! Delays happen unfortunately but do appreciate your viewpoint and DISH have come out and said they're won't provide such narrow date ranges moving forward for this type of news.
Hoping this raise can hold - but I suspect if there aren't new restaurants come Monday we'll be back to 3p or high 2s. Hopefully theres lots and this is start of getting back to 9p!
What's your average here Applesauce? Tell me to mind my own if you want.
ART makes a good point but I'd put it less aggressively and say September is time for more restaurants on platform - they've explained delay over the summer so September no excuses.
I'm like applesauce wont be investing more until we see some momentum but accept that comes with likelihood I'll be topping up at higher than 3p. But SP history already proved with right momentum this can go to 9p so I'm happy to hold on and top up at 5p when momentum confirms model is working.
Agree should rise pending we start seeing more restaurants on the platform. If still no uptake in restaurant numbers going into September I can't see any rise happening. But as said with the TM's now all in place and end of holiday season if no new restaurants on platform could be indicator they are genuinely struggling to get restaurants on board causing a further drift in SP.
This board been renamed the Beep board? Whilst frustrating seeing people change their minds they're entitled too - I'd say blame lies with those whose invested based on what they're been reading on BBs! DYOR and accept responsibility....when you do get it wrong you are a lot more likely to learn if you accept its your error and no one elses fault for you clicking buy! Was happy to hold core holding till news but these prices I am tempted to top up and try reclaim my paper profits from when we were at 9p!
Agreed, be interesting to see how quickly they can develop this site - will highlight agility of the development team whilst also a massive enabler for growth of restaurants on the platform and hopefully remove any barriers for restaurants providing an easy enrollment onto the platform.
Echoing ConMan94 as long as you've not told them they will double their money or triple like it has of late I think it'll be fine.
Big picture, fully funded for 18 month, launchpad for UK rollout pretty much on brink of being ready, and not launched in Brighton or London. Some will no doubt already be priced in but think this will look like a bargain come even just 2-3 month time when national rollout is well under way.
Because BIDS have a massive headstart and you have to put value on first mover advantage. Question is why would Google et al spend millions developing same technology when you can buy out an existing partner which has the technology and already fully integrated into Stadia already? It means keep first mover advantage and lower costs.
Whats thoughts on SP if they come back with more data needed but no trials?
Would not want to be out of this over next few weeks. Feel a choo choo coming on!
Like to think people aren't selling due to just 1 poster. But I'm quite happy with the price being kept low as gives an opportunity to get a better position, trade the consolidation period increasing number of shares along the way. Pending momentum continues and is visible (i.e. number of restaurants on platform / figures released demonstrating growth) only a matter of time before we get back to IPO price - which should reward those who have been using time at these historically (hopefully!) low prices top get a good position.
Obviously gotcha is only risk what you can afford to lose - as theres no guarantee. DYOR
If they were on BigDish they might not have failed within their first year ;)
Have they released their cash burn rate anywhere? Thats one area it would be good to get confirmed. Or least how much they have left from IPO last August.
Though do I recall correctly Aiden has confirmed no plans for any cash raises earlier this month?
These are good prices to be topping up IMO - fundamentals are the same (if not better) than when it was near the 4p mark so see this as just usual retrace post a big rise.
Thanks for clarification! I was told otherwise but couldn't find any confirmation from official sources but thought it made sense considering when browsing app you only see "live" restaurants - live is defined as being on the app, whether that for same day or future discounts.
Been tracking and think live restaurants have gone up by a few in past week (<10 extra but when you start with 70 odd decent momentum). Also understand not all restaurants on the books are available on the site - only when they have discounts on offer do they appear.
Agreed its not our position to look after the jobs, its our position to accept when investing in the stock market there are risks involved.
Whilst disappointed with the loss from this mornings news - BoD are morally correct in putting peoples jobs and pensions first over shareholder profits. There's always risk involved and this has been unfortunate for those who have lost. But only invest what you can afford to lose....most people can't afford to lose their jobs.
Not happy but respect boards decision.
