Andrada Mining acquisition elevates the miner to emerging mid-tier status. Watch the video here.
Each to their own and we are all grownups. There is always a peak before the fall and I am talking here about the markets and not Tullow. It is a serious question. I use wake up call intentionally in the same way several economists in the IMF who studied the Asian crisis in the late 1990's.
This is not directed at Tullow but at the markets more generally. The US markets must be close to recognising a wake up call. The S&P index is so detached from reality. FTSE 100 saw a very small wake up call today. I am in danger of sounding like RD12 here. Just be careful everyone.
Understood investor6. I myself have been uncharacteristically negative this last day or so and to the truth of the matter is I have no idea what tomorrow may bring. My instincts tell me along the lines of what I have been posting but who knows! What I do know is we are all here to make some money and good luck to all (caveat-does not apply to shorters)
Guys-one a great things about this board is we are quite civilised which long may this continue.
Brent futures and spot prices are not really relevant atm. What MMs might be more interested in is production output. In April for example, SKA and UAE have pumped record volume this April. Extract below.
Top producer Saudi Arabia and close ally the United Arab Emirates (UAE) saw their output jump to records in April, more than offsetting declines in Iran, Libya, and Venezuela, the monthly Reuters survey showed on Thursday.
The survey, which tracks OPEC’s oil supply to the market and is based on sources at oil firms, OPEC, and shipping data, found that OPEC pumped a total of 30.25 million bpd of oil in April—the highest level since March 2019 and a rise of 1.61 million bpd compared to March 2020
xel123-thanks for the message.
I will refrain from posting for a while because you are quite right about the inferred negativity. This is not a competition and everyone can win and I do hope so.....(hopefully not shorters though!). I do see a bright future ahead for oil Tullow.
Some big sells last thing. See the London Stock Exchange site:

I really hope I am wrong about my feeling of what tomorrow might bring. Positive RNS hopefully.

This is not meant as a ramp or deramp but just my opinion. Without a positive RNS tomorrow (which could happen, who knows) or something spectacular externally this will drift down below 25 tomorrow imo. Just my view and in time this will tremble and more. Trying to be balanced and I am overall very positive about the future for Tullow.
I am reasonably good at calling bottoms but definitely off when it comes to calling tops! That's my issue and happy to hold unless something obvious presents itself. That said, I did not predict the response the OPEC plus decision which stills grates, especially buying in at 8p and 10p.....and higher.....
