TJMC,
Ask yourself who owns The Times. Then ask who owns Sky. Is it the same conglomerate?
Would it be in their interest to promote Sky Cinema at the expense of traditional cinemas?
Agreed Ash. No reason we won’t have a good week coming up.
SP is up 26% this year already!
Lots of good vaccination news and a re-opening date looking likely some time in April or early May.
I didn't say take them seriously!!!
Fact check EVERYTHING they say and correct them.
Annoys the hell out of them.
b-b
Just watch this morning’s Andrew Marr show. Sarah Gilbert from Oxford Uni explains everything very clearly (and she’s wayyyyy smarter than any of us).
Z
She was very positive on Marr but that doesn’t get clicks on websites or sell newspapers, especially the Murdock papers (Times & Sun), who love to dig at Cine whenever they get the chance.
Don’t filter these jokers. They want you to do that so they can talk direct to the less experienced and thereby have more influence on their sell decisions.
Read what they post and counter with knowledge and sound argument.
It was TOPTRADERS.
He’s meeting me here at 4.30 so we can discuss how his prediction went I hope.
This is a company with prime sites across U.K. and USA, 2 places where the pandemic is going to be largely under control by Easter and everything will start to open up.
The Bank of England estimates ppl in UK have saved £125 billion during the pandemic and they are going to want to go out and party like it’s 2021.
Buy and Hold (my opinion, DYOR).
Wayne, you really can’t take advice off a bulletin board mate. Please do your own research on Cineworld and good luck whatever you decide to do with your £2k.
Interesting thought. Sell the whole Company to Jangho and then buy back the European part of the company...... nice.
30% obliges them to make a formal bid but they would presumably need to have 50% to have control of the business.
Crumpets.
Agree - no such thing as coincidence in business. I’m trying to get my head around how Jangho would take over Cine.
They have 13.3% and they need 50. Hard to see how they would get there without Mooky’s 20%.
Today his stake is worth just over £200 million but what would he sell it for??
And they would have to make other shareholders an offer at least as high as the best price in the last 12 months. The SP was around £2 a year ago but fell quickly in the following weeks.
There’s a sweet spot for a takeover somewhere but I can’t work out where it is.
Sammy, I don’t think they are talking to the LTHs, they want us to block them so they can talk directly to the newbie investors who are coming to Cine in the hope the sp will bounce soon.
So, I would say best to keep an ear out and reply with calm reasoning to the nonsense they spout.
Good luck to all serious folk on here.
Nor with you Ciner. I like your enthusiasm!
Good luck to all on here.
Ciner, you’ve certainly made yourself very comfortable here in the few days you’ve been on this board, haven’t you.
Listen and learn for a while from the people on here before you pick up the megaphone. We have all sorts here. That’s what makes it interesting. We are also adults and we can make our own decisions. Thanks.

You’re fast becoming the No1 knob on here. Watch your tongue boy
usernames.
Totally agree. Let’s keep politics off this board, there are plenty of places to bore people with arguments from the past. Honestly tho, nobody is interested.
As an investor I am interested in the company I’m invested in.
As for Protrader = Whatamess in disguise
That’s logical. Thanks.
I like Robin’s 10p for every 1% reduction in shorts theory.
No, Definitely hold.
I was just wondering how shorting of our stock affects the sp. Consensus seems to be that they are a negative. If they go away is that a positive for Cine?
I don’t know enough to understand if less shorting of Cine stock is good or bad for the share price. Can anyone shed any light on this murky world please?
