Andrada Mining acquisition elevates the miner to emerging mid-tier status. Watch the video here.
Bathed in sunshine here on my estate in the Shires although I don't see the same wildlife that MIB has in his part of the country unfortunately, just the feral pigeons making a racket as they multiply, Blue Tits fluttering, Magpies scavenging and Blacbirds alarming at the cats, whilst overhead, majestic Red Kites get harried by various species of Gulls that live and feed at the local refuse tip. All said, better than living in a high rise in some inner city I'd say.
Safety, sorry you've had to sell a chunk at this moment in time. My circumstances nearly lead to me having to ditch a few but fortunately for me, the bank of brother has helped me out to the point that I can keep my holding for the time being. It seems that quite a few people have returned to cash at the moment, so we're mot alone in struggling. Hopefully, the next few months might see us return to the status quo. Keep the faith Wressers.
Good morning all. As usual, looked at the LSX webpage just now and suffered a brain meltdown. It looks like they have launched an updated website and instead of a nice simple view of things, I felt like I'd been transported onto the trading floor, I was completely lost!! Has anyone else looked in on it yet?
Troa, wrong day for a leak/leek, as is a Friday RNS. Monday/Tuesday would be good though. Knowing MM, he'll probably do the opposite because his top notch PR guru told him that was best practice these days. Roll on July and October is all I can say.
Just back from my weekly duel with death at the supermarket and on seeing the SP blue, nearly fell of me perch in shock!!
Jaffaman, yes, I almost certainly was being facetious as Boythorpe proved himself to be a bit of a joker as it were! As for knowing the output in advance would probably be classed as insider knowledge and thus be frowned upon from a great height and therefore won't happen. Plus if anyone were to be spotted with binoculars, Manuel, a huge hairy mine minder might put said spy through the primary and secondary crushers then dumped in the lake. Goodbye Mr Bond..
U2, not sure how that would work? Where would money to be made come from? Anyway, we already have a man on the ground called Boythorpe, our ever reliable reporter who can see everything from his balcony, mind you, that's a hell of a feat considering he claims to live near Madrid!!
Morning Safety, to be fair, I did post it on here at the time but no one took any notice as far as I know? It did make me realise though that watching a comp rise that I'm not invested in, is nothing compared to watching a comp rise then drop like a stone that I was invested in and to not having taken any profit.....ouch!! Pure greed and stupidity has cost me tens of thousands over the years, if I'd followed my plan, I'd probably be a millionaire now, still a grumpy old man, but grumpy in comfort! Heigh ho.
Been in and out of it over the years Troa and always did quite well, unfortunately, I was fully loaded here in Wres when just over a year ago, I tipped ITM at around 20p with a view to getting back in with my Wres profits. Hah, that worked out well then and now I've missed the mother load as they head toward 300p. One day I'll get it right!
Just been looking at the tip i gave and that I can't mention to see how many trades today and it's fascinating watching the counter keep rising as the trades reach the 2,300 mark so far today. I'm not sure I have ever seen the Wres trade count move, to say it's glacial would be an understatement, although we are at 8 at the moment so not a record low. Wouldn't it be nice to see a flicker of interest to relieve the boredom now and again?
SP not up on the LSX website so don't trust LSE ro be correct!
Good afternoon all, it's so hot and sunny here in the Shires that I'm having to rub factor 50 on the swine, still that's my fault for leaving it out in the sun! Anyway, looking at the tip I can't mention cos it'll get my post removed, they are still going strong and at the last look had 1473 trades, mind you, we're not far behind with 5. Yes, quality not quantity is the order of the day, we might even move eventually because of that? I hope everyone is keeping well?
Now then Richard, it'll take ages to whittle your average down at this rate but every little helps.
Gosh, 2 whole trades and it's only 10:33, steady on now!
Just looked at Wres Twitter page but can't see owt new.
Good morning all, lovely day here on my estate in the Shires, some light cloud and a breeze but very pleasant all round. May let the hounds loose later on, bag a couple of pheasants for cook to pluck and roast, give the old mare a quick rub over with a chamois then I might do the horse if the groom hasn't already done it? Life ain't easy in dreamland thee nose!!
AA, you say that based on Q1 production but for all we know the plant may now be producing as predicted or better even, we just wont find out until July? Let's think glass half full for a change!
Going back to glod, I only said that some good news would be helpful, what that might be i couldn't say. However, I've always maintained that MM will not put the whole business at risk by chasing nuggets but will instead concentrate on earning enough profit to be able to refinance the Blackrock facility then farm Sao Martinho out to a bona fide gold comp for either a joint venture or more likely sell the lease and take a percentage from whoever operates it. This all depends on Sao Martinho being worth the effort after all this time?
MICHAEL MASTERMAN PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!
SMALL CAP MOVERS: Junior miners enjoy ride on higher gold price - and Bank of America sees the yellow metal surging to $3,000 an ounce.
I know Sao Martinho is still on the back burner, but a bit of upbeat gold news might do us good in the current climate.
GIT, have you ever seen such a small percentage shown, I can't say I ever have? As for the posts, I'll just say KILLJOYS!!
