IntelliAM aiming for significant growth with £5 million Aquis IPO. Watch the video here.
Really optimistic this share will do well this year. A low cost producer, a huge potash mine, a government policy to be self sufficient in Fertilizer production by 2020 and a large chunk of shares owned by a family. A good time to get in either for a share to grow in value or its dividend stream. DYOR there are many on these boards that have ulterier motives.
Now back to normal most odd. Sunspot activity?
Ask 2.53 bid 2.79?
I have a few of these and have just spent a hour or so looking at the accounts to try and establish why its slipping. Last year £70m of its revenue was down to valuation increases and for in the accounts ensitivity analysis a 0.5% increase in the discount rate would wipe £111m off asset valuation. Conversly the same increase in RPI would add £100m to a set valuation. So they broadly work against each other. I also note that the risk factor attached to the discount rates used is 5.6% so isn't a potential increase in the discount rate already costed in? RPI annualised rate has also increased from 3.14% in March to 3.38% at June and likely to get worse before it gets better. Overall thi still looks a good investment at this price.
Yes I appreciate that there is always risk!! My mistake was believing an advisory account gave me access to expert opinion not an earning stream (for SVS)!! Exclamation marks are so effective aren't they wowp!!!
Just caught up with the RNS announcing this. Oh dear. I was a client of SVS and unfortunately they suffer from a conflict of interests in that they are paid a negotiated commission to promote certain shares. SVS enticed me into investing in a few ventures all of which bombed. I have now left transferring all.
What a pleasant surprise. The positive thing here is that the company lives on! For a modest investment it generates some income for us and has great local benefit for the area. We diversify, yes and tread water whilst the oil market recovers. The alternative until very recently was a possible asset strip selling our interests at rock bottom prices leaving us with nowt. A very good sign here.
Last years accounts (to Sept 2015 published March) stated that in order to finance ongoing committments over the next 12 months further funds have to be raised within the next few so yes there is going to be a further equity issue. Net current assets of around £170K then probably pretty much gone so no cash left and outlook for oil price still not good so there is going to be a big dilution regrettably.
I stand corrected... I've not given up on the share, mothballing seems to be a sensible move. The oil price will recover I just hope its in my lifetime ha! The asset is still there and I earnestly believe there will be good opportunities to buy additional shares over the next couple of years at a bargain price.
I am 80% down nearly £3K and crystalising that loss is not very palatable. I too am very disappointed with the way this has panned out. It was always a risky investment but promised a high return but no one foresaw the drop in the price of oil and that is the main reason why this has tanked. If you do not need the money then hang on but two years is a long time for sure. I would imagine many will sell up in the meantime and the SP will gradually drift down....
I have not seen the video but I have long thought it odd that Rankine would publicaly state what he thought would happen ie that Total would buy Tom out and the price as well! To show all your cards to the others in any game will put you at a disadvantage. Seemed rather naive to me.
Getting a bit lonely, been adrift months now and no sign of land. Captain SVC sold me a bummer and then jumped ship. Insert the missing word to win 15000 shares: clue it encapsulates this share performance....." a pile of s****". Answers please in a plain brown envelope wrapped an a copy of the Grinod left in the first rubbish bin you find turning right out of Kings cross main railway station entrance.
Is anyone out there and has any comment on why this share woke up today?
Hello all, Sorry to be a bit dense but can anyone explain what these extensions mean in words of one syllable? I have an investment here and wanted to increase it but the margins between buy and sell seem disproportionate and we end the day back to where we were before. The extensions seem to suggest a disparity between settlements of the buy and sell orders?
