I subscribe to the Elliott Gould theory. Yes it's a mish mash. But I believe in the science of friends. Several of my friends agree and several disagree. Mostly Bob and Carol agree and Ted and Alice disagree.
I think it's a bridge too far to say it is guaranteed to be accurate but sometimes it can give you a touch.
Now I'm not the player i once thought I was but as my friend Trapper John once told me, one Saturday night live,. Don't be a Muppet. This isn't the long goodbye. So let's be getting it straight. This could be a great investment if you stop being a silent partner.
Of course all the shenanigans and manipulation is having a benefit which we may be grateful for down the line. It is allowing a greater percentage of the Company to be owned by Pi's. Should an unwelcome TO come our way we will be better able to repell it.
Ophidian, I don't know who you are or what you do (though I do like your new curtains in the back bedroom) but your ability to dumb down things so the likes of me can understand (to a point) is greatly appreciated and to be admired in my view. Thanks.
Oh yeah, the old salt roast process. I been doing it all my life. Man and boy. I particularly like the music of Frank Sinatra.
Ok clowning around over.
Now you all know me. I've been here long enough. Since October 2013. I don't really contribute anything in the way of scientific facts or explanations about processes or shipment data or anything like that. Opinion and comedy and telling the trolls to do one is about the best I can claim.
I do, as I believe some much better than me contributers will vouch for do quite a bit to promote us on main stream media sites and that's about it really.
I'm old so I can do do basic maths in my head but I've never been great with figures. My CV says I've got a C grade maths O level but in truth I can barely count to C.
All those posts about MWh go straight over my head. Words were always my thing.
So Ophidian posts about the salt roast process on the site created and run by alpa in a way I nearly (after reading it 5 times) understand.
You have to love this BB. You have to love them and a few others as well. I doubt there is a better researched and publicly available resource about a Company than we have. I thank you all.
Here's to a blue week.
We can all speculate on the SP movement until the cows come home but personally I prefer a more scientifically proven factually based analysis. The SP has always made its biggest gains when I am on holiday for some reason. I got to Tobago for 2 weeks on November 3rd.
Interesting. Especially the bit that says -

Roskill estimates that vanadium demand "for VRFB markets" could rise to 31,000 tons by 2025, amounting to a rise of 3,100% in a decade.
Safe, recyclable, durable battery technology. That's Lithium out the window then. It's almost like somebody built a car before the wheel was invented and was just waiting for the final piece of the jigsaw.
jogj, that does make sense about the graft but I have always thought and said a few times on here that the Mokopane licence won't be granted until after the JSE listing and a chance for SA to take a position. I hope I'm wrong and the license is RNS'd Monday but I still think I'm right.
Either way it doesn't matter unless you're looking at an early exit. I'm here long term for dividends personally. This is my pension. If I'm right I have a good retirement and if I'm not I don't.
People who know me and my investment here ( I never stop trying to promote it) know more about VRFB's than half the CEO's of the renewable energy companies in the world. You gotta laugh.
Anyway, I hope we get the Mokopane license soon.
But the other thing my friends ask me is how is the Company doing? I say great and blab on. Then they say how is the SP and I say bad. They can't get their head round that. Why should they?
Thank the Lord for this BB and the unbelievably generous knowledgeable people here.
I feel blessed.
Time will prove us right. It better, I have my life savings here.
