This was sorted and I understand MTR were in contact with the brokers concerned. MTR are an investing company. I know some investors have issues with buying but not selling. The Lloyds stable of brokers seem to be the issue and some investors have given up on their broker and transferred to another. By the way what was your comment to the company on shareholder value?
And again can sell 250k in one go. So there is someone still with a big order to fill.
Agreed Brim, it’s not MTR’s issue at all. The KID is pretty much a tick box exercise and not a very useful document. As for shareholder value no idea what Jack is going on about.
ML this was also an issue with iWeb post consolidation as well. I suggest you give them a call. Last year there was an issue with the KID but to my knowledge there is an updated version on the MTR website. The KID is a pretty meaningless document in any event!
Up until 5 minutes ago I could sell 250k in one trade. It is now down to 125k! Still someone buys.
KB, a poster named Hydrogen was alluding to a fund picking up stock a few weeks ago. I do dummy trades every day and at some times of the day you can get a quote to sell a decent amount of stock and other times not a lot. So yes there is clearly a worked order at a certain price. I am sure a MTR have commissioned a s793 and know what’s going on.
275k new shares I.e 2.75m in old terms.
Can sell 275k shares in one go. Not had that for a few weeks!
From my recollection Keith. The dividends that accrue on the shares that are part of the collar collateral are applied to the outstanding loan. So used to repay the loan.
Strange I can sell 25,000 without a problem. Very narrow margin between buy and sell.
Executors would sell and then inform MTR and MTR would inform the market.
According to the May 2020 MTR corporate presentation from the website it showed TG had 83,963,426 or 8,396,343. If the executors had sold some then MTR would have informed the market.
The shares were held in TGs sole name. It will take sometime to obtain letters of Probate. So it will not be his executors selling.
Agreed Hydrogen, surprised that a TR1 has not been lodged showing 3% has been crossed.
Fair point INV123. It’s also worth mentioning that with production ex T3 there will also be a revenue stream which will increase as production ramps up. The embedded value of the royalty will also increase as further discoveries are hopefully made. I presume that the royalty could be used as collateral in the same way as the SFR shares are currently used so the asset/Royalty could be made to work more efficiently. It will also complicate the calculation of the NAV! Anyway a nice problem to have.
Well with all the large trades over the last few days I can still sell 375,000 at 25.11p!
Can now sell 375,000 at 25.11 so a very large background buyer!
Morning Hydrogen, Seems I can sell 325,000 @ 25.11
