Tribe Technology set to deliver healthy pipeline of orders from Tier-One miners. Watch the video here.
I sold up here last week. The final straw was when I realized Gerard "I don't even take a salary" Brandon holds enough shares to sell £55k worth every single year for the next 15 years even if the price falls to 10p and stays there.
But I didn't come here to gloat. I've got some news you might benefit from. Pres. Biden just released his National COVID Preparedness Plan according to a former Senior Advisor on the Covid Response team:

"Data collection, sequencing & wastewater are key focuses of early detection."
So that's it from me. Good luck.
Rare_Groove - "This will touch 50p minimum this afternoon."
Where were you two weeks ago when we really needed a fortune teller?
I feel a little sorry for the guy who said this this morning:
aj242 - "the market is irrelevant in its first hour. THis will be red at close."
Tattyhead2- "It can be taken over for 23 p if they wait 12 months from today"
No it can't. There are several reasons why that's wrong. If you've based it on your understanding of the takeover rules when reaching 30%, you need to re-read it.
FreeTheCaterham7 - "How would Poly force a takeover, at any level?"
I ask that question every time it comes up and haven't yet got an answer.
aj242 - "the market is irrelevant in its first hour. THis will be red at close."
How confident are you in that statement?
I mean, if you're wrong would you agree to not bother posting on here anymore?
Activ-2 page has been updated in the past couple of hours to change the status of SAB-185 to 'Enrollment closed'.
SNG001 still appears open. Clinical trial record page hasn't been updated yet.

NorthScot - "If no RNS tomorrow then that means there is nothing to report and nothing has changed."
That seems like a reasonable assumption. In Tommy's post from 19:53 today, Endpoints News quotes a NIAID spokesperson saying "No other arm of the ACTIV-2 trial has been stopped for that reason". If they can get a response from NIAID, Synairgen will definitely be able to. So if there's no RNS from them tomorrow morning I'll assume Phase 3 is still on.
Tommy - "SAB progressed into phase 3 against a different set of goals than apply in phase 3"
I'm not sure what you're saying there. I know Phase 2 has different endpoints from Phase 3. But in each phase, aren't all drugs measured against the same endpoints as every other drug in the same phase?
I read today's release from SAB and, with the reason they've given, I really don't see any way that SNG001 hasn't been removed too.
The phrase they used was “operational futility”, and they explained that even if the drug works as it should, current hospitalization rates and death rates mean there's no way they could demonstrate a statistically significant result.

Just thinking out loud but I assume a large-scale repeat of Phase 2 would be successful and could be enough to secure EUA, and if they've got the treatments all made up then that's half the cost covered.
On top of that, what's the likelihood that they couldn't secure some government assistance if the alternative were to just bin the treatments they've got?
It's possible the only remaining silver-lining is that at least we're not sitting here with mortar holes in our living room walls. But there's a chance there are others.

They have to report it to the FCA if it's 0.5% or more of the company. Take a look at "Short positions daily update XLSX" here:
https://www.fca.org.uk/markets/short-selling/notification-and-disclosure-net-short-positions
Can't see how they would gain much from it. If they short more than 1m shares that information is made public, so they're limited to around £180k worth. How much are they going to make from that?
Besides, is an investor even able to open a short on a company they hold nearly 30% of if it's clear they intend to drive the price down?
The SAB release says that Activ-2's trial method and endpoints mean that even if the drug's successful they would be unable to achieve a statistically significant result. I can't imagine any way that the same would not apply to SNG.
"notwithstanding the potential efficacy of SAB 185, it would not be possible to demonstrate statistically significant clinical efficacy with the existing study design, since so few of the enrolled COVID-19 patients had an observable study endpoint event such as hospitalization."

Panic selling based on... Activ-2 being cancelled.
I first invested here early 2020 and have precisely 0 people on my filter list. But the idiot who came up with this thread title is going in.
Compared to 2nd March last year, cases in the US are now down 20% but deaths are around 40% higher. It seems a little early to be cancelling trials and announcing "Mission Accomplished".
Ragz - "They are loading up on some shares which they will then sell on."
So you're saying they're buying them with the intention to sell for less than they've paid? That's a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off for em.
Doc83 - "If the data is good, then I can't see why the SP wouldn't see a large bounce"
Since it's been recommended for Phase 3 I think it's very likely that Phase 2 has shown good results, so I expect that's already be priced in. But when Phase 3 begins, I think that will give a bigger lift to the share price.
I assume we wouldn't have been recommended for Activ-2 phase 3 if the phase 2 data wasn't good.
If he doesn't go, are you thinking about selling up and leaving this forum in protest?
