@dalcan the new wins in the last few weeks are all our own brand sites. A huge chunk changed from custom cart
There certainly aren’t 444 live stores as H1 update has this as 212
I think you’ve missed the point. Their recurring revenue is up, significantly
Each revenue / profit stream attracts a different multiple
The recurring revenue element is what gives Ocado that rating. At £60m and 0 growth ingenuity isn’t getting the love it once was
@Hosai with Ocado you need to look international solutions revenue to compare to ingenuity
The U.K. revenue of Ocado is more akin to beauty and nutrition
But installing a supermarkets entire e-commerce delivery solution with your own IP and decades long contracts is pretty strong recurring revenue. This was the dream ingenuity was meant to be. Only it hasn’t scaled and churn is higher than we were told
It’s not the same revenue as THG. One off retail revenue is not the same as the type of revenue Ingenuity commerce is
The THG number to compare to Ocado is £60m
The bars will just be old perishable stock
These are being given away for free on the app
They were expensive full price so might be some stock leftover before a new range is launched
Sample sale in manchester also next weekend
It’s exclusive for the U.K. I’d imagine as iceland only need to protect their investment in the Uk and only want to drive footfall to stores. People in tbe state of Maine aren’t nipping to Iceland for a shop
They don’t have stores in the US so MyProtein can license with someone there for a similar agreement
Not hard. Canary’s point was that iceland would do all this and then sell tbe meals to Tesco. That’s dumb. I elands model is not to sell MyProtein meals but you use that to drag new customers to store who will then fill their basket across the store
Iceland has done loads of these exclusive deals. They are clear on it. Making £1 on a meal sold ri Tesco isn’t worth anything to them. But a world of new custoemrs doing a weekly shop is
Exactly. Glad you’ve learnt Canary
Canary read again what I wrote
It all helps and it’s pure margin
Interesting that it took three years. Shows how much rubbish people talk when they say stuff like “Iceland will then just sell it to Tesco”
All that effort and you just give it your competitor. People and here are clueless
Say 10% of that £80m in three years time that’s nice. Hopefully there’s some more of these to come (with the right partners) I’m still 50:50 on iceland
No worries Canary. Thinking about this and even wholesale into some markets where we might not be able to service properly would also be great
What id love to see is the Cult Beauty brand launched into a partnership like Space NK did

Thg Studios seems to be tagged in the new ASDA advert! Won't be big money for us but a nice to see
I said a push into convenience would be huge and an easy win for MyProtein and seems that there is progress being made

Launch of bars and vitamins into irish chains
Grenade is c.£200m revenue and mainly convenience. If MyProtein can do £100m from this that's c.15% growth for the whole division and at a 45% GM would be £45m to the bottom line
We really do just need to get the cash generation machine turned on (few jobs cuts and capex pull back) and things can fly
Glanbia and Bellring are £3billion plus on their own! We need to get Nutrition firing
I was thinking about this and why would you do it over peak trading and distract the business?
No chance. Good numbers (hopefully) and in Q1 we will see
In ingenuity? Yes
The point on Citidel isn’t correct. That is lots of independent funds under one banner. Each fund is autonomous so in some instances they might clash
Shopify chopped 1,000 staff earlier this year
For THG that's £35m a year cost saving
I'm not saying there are 1,000 roles but you can work numbers on this
T4G again with the copy paste. How sad. Yet you’re the liar and one who makes up stuff that other people have said. Oh and the fake and misleading stats you post (or can never evidence)
I think if I were you I’d take the L on that
But on US performance Asos has consistently grown and it’s a bigger business
But do you know how profitable that business is? Do you think boohoo’s US will be profitable and any support for that?
Makes you think MyProtein volumes must have been hit hard
This seems odd as you'd think we'd be gaining more market share
I agree Anacott. He was completely wrong on inflation the first time around and I do think same as you that he’s now desperate to correct the mistake
I do think we should see where inflation settles from these current rate rises. Ultimately next year inflation will have to leap frog these higher figures so that should optically help
