Tribe Technology set to deliver healthy pipeline of orders from Tier-One miners. Watch the video here.
Even if it was true and there was a capital raise coming, what’s the problem with a 20% spike and then say a 10% discount placing? Better than a 10% discount placing from our lows (eye roll emoji) - two more days of +20% and then they can raise as much as they want (rofl emoji)
Can’t see there ever being a bidding war for Havieron as Newcrest own the processing plant. It would require would be bidders to build their own plant, hence easily outbid by Newcrest. The only takeover I could possibly see is one of the proper big guns making a bid for Newcrest as a whole.
Best bit from the new Sprott valuation after the 5%
“The implied asset valuation – and being very specific here – of the existing reserve (ie, ‘only’ existing reserves) comes in at US$1.2bn, implying US$300m / £250m, lifting to £300m with cash against ~£450m market cap of Greatland. Why we see this as a great result is that this valuation is on the existing 2.0Moz @ 3.7g/t (at spot) 4Q21 reserves.“
From only the first 2moz - let that sink in…
News won’t land till after 11pm, probably after 11:30pm.
Shaun has made a couple of cracking moves recently and so I expect (wish/hope :-)) that if it is the 5% that’s done and dusted, then this means the extra funding is done too. We really kinda need both together I think.
Interesting…another video?!?!?
Totally agree with you on that point Spade, but Newcrest’s proper share price gain due to Hav won’t happen until production, so until then they don’t really care. Hence, Shaun & Co have stepped up and shown their worth as a team without the need for help from Newcrest. For now, Havieron is just another tenement on their massive portfolio.
As much as I agree that Freddie is nearly always pessimistic and bordering on getting boring :-( I’d take a step back in banding everyone that bought at the highs all in the same bracket. Bear in mind, that if you did your research on GGP during our highs, there was still a very good case to buy. So, take it easy on the people as a whole that bought on the high. There’s a lot out there that aren’t moaning about it.
Remember guys…
Havieron for Newcrest is about 5-10% of their business…if that.
Havieron to Greatland is about 90-95% of their business…
They are never gonna see Havieron in the same light as we do, and they will never plug it as much as we do. Perspective.
Drill results are always good as they lay the path for the future. We care about them, they don’t. Looking for extensions tm night in any direction they want :-)
Haha. I give up. Knew it was gonna be like the percentage discussion. Spoon, don’t forget you can also get 0001, 0002 etc
CJ. That only works if there is a wrong/right answer. If all options are equal it doesn’t work.
It’s 10,000x10,000 = 100,000,000 just like the odds of two 6s being 6x6 = 36
CJ. That’s like saying the odds of hitting one number on a die is 5/1 and not 6/1. Doesn’t work that way.
Yep…6 x 6 = 36 … it’s not a case of the odds after already rolling one 6. The odds for two PIN numbers are therefore 10,000x10,000 (thumbs up)
I’ll be devils advocate and help out…what are the odds of getting a pair of sixes with 2 die?
Shame it’s on a weekend as it could of gotten real interesting…:-0
Hahaha, this is gonna turn into another “how is a percentage calculated” discussion :-)))))))
Won’t be a 2:1 consolidation. That would be pointless. Closer to 10:1 I’d say…if SD wants it and thinks it worth it, I’ll happily agree.
Beat me to it Red!! Totally agree, we should bear in mind that SD is mainly a finance man so should know the best ways forward for both raising capital and indeed consolidation!! Happy to leave my trust and shares in SD.
Excellent RNS. Great work from Shaun again. This is where he keeps delivering regardless of share price. Building for the future. Capable hands from our main man!!
$404 AUD equates to $272 USD
$202 AUD equates to $136 USD
That’s the current attributable value of our ounces from the note and still open in all directions with new areas still to come, it’s very low. The 5% might not be worthwhile to us and Shaun but the rest sure as hell will be…still gonna be a bumpy ride. Buckle up, sit back and enjoy the story guys…could be a classic. It will all come down to Shaun and the teams personal goals and ambitions. How much do they want to grow the company before they get bored or move on? Time will tell :-)
Too many moving parts to put a time on it and too many variables. What they are doing is valuing Havieron and GGP as they progress hence the low current valuation for each Oz of gold produced. As more info becomes available and we get closer to production, the value of each Oz will rise in line with the less risk and the more certainty of mining. A$404 and A$202 valuations currently equal a value of A$3.8bn. Change the value of the ounces and you change the overall NPV of Havieron.
Very in-depth and interesting broker note from Sprott today. 17p might seem low but…last paragraph page 1…
“Initiate with BUY rating and 17p PT
Our modelled 9Mtpa SLOS operation producing 668koz pa payable AuEq cornerstones our A$3.8bn NAV (A$404/oz inventory). We add our 6Moz caveable material at half this valuation, and net of G&A and net cash, initiating with a BUY rating and 1xNAV5%-1850 17p PT diluted for options. Key price drivers are drilling / MRE / 4Q22 BFS / debt funding, all ahead of 2024 production.”
So they seem to be pricing each ounce at only A$404 for the initial phase and the second “extra” 6moz phase at half that which is A$202 per ounce. They also expect us to eventually get to nearly 800koz per annum (thumbs up emoji) - bear in mind also the above is in Aussie Dollars, so that is bloody cheap for an ounce of gold, almost crazy prices.
The info given in this note is excellent compared to others but seem to be ultra conservative in terms of profit per ounce, probably due to their risk status, hence, massive scope for increase in SP when we get to first ore and the “true value” of each of our ounces is defined.
The chapter in Shaun Day is brilliant too. Almost like something he would write himself. Can’t get much bigger of a compliment than that paragraph :-0
That’s my take on it anyway. Any expansion on this by people with more knowledge appreciated, but it seems pretty self-explanatory, so don’t think I’m reading it wrong.
