Tanker out, Kim pump pumping and presumably drill all going to plan..
Alba 12%
I asked on ukog board yesterday if anyone could point me in the direction of any conventional horizontal Oil wells into Portland (or similar) to try to get a comparison. I spent most of yesterday looking into this and tbh found very little to compare.
Does anyone here have any info ?
There is a notable lack of any interest in Alba which as EOGL points out is understandable with UKOG but Alba not so much ?
Talk of lacking in funds from not contributing to latest HH operations hasn't helped..but HH is delivering Oil of wich circa 12% is attributed to Alba thankfully !
Has anyone looked into other successful (or not so successful) horizontal Portland Oil production results ?
If so can you point me in that direction..Just trying to get a realistic idea of what we (ukog, alba and dor) are looking to achieve

Agree Skwizz, HHDL need to look at widening the entrance to HH to avoid any accidents and any time delay implications and obviously danger imo.
Great to see tankers at HH, lets hope we see a lot more in the coming weeks and months.
Could SS be ramping up production from Kim to provide better cash flow?

Whilst we all wait for HH good news...
Scotgold up another 10% today (comparisons can be made) MCAP £38M
Arkle Resources down today but 50% up on last weeks news of Glencore investing near to Alba's Irish Zinc licence
Bluejay waiting for news on RIO Tinto ilmenite shipment MCAP £85M
So another quiet day for Alba but plenty of comparisons can be made that could see massive gains if things play out as we hope.
Can only think GF is working on something..Very unlike him to be so quiet for so long..Question is what ?
DYOR etc
If ...HH drills deliver as expected or better than expected results Alba's low MCAP and low share price should be long gone..
Alba do have other projects that could do very well but with work still to do at Cloggy, TBS and Amitsoq for me they should add significant value next year..
So lets get the great news we all need at HH and set this up for an exciting few years
Gla etc

My thoughts are igas have been in talks regards Brockham and ukog may have expressed an interest but they have no funding options available to them at this time.
TBH I have always been confused as to igas 100% owned pedl235 ? Is that Brocham ?
Not invested in Angus anymore but interested in Weald Oil and I don't think we've heard the last of Brockham..
It wouldn't surprise me if it landed in ukogs hands next year with ambitious plans for Portland and even Kim..
Just my thoughts of course
George Frangeskides, Alba's Executive Chairman, commented: "It is good to hear that the coring programme has been successfully completed and that this has assisted in the identification of the Portland Sandstone's sweet spot. This should certainly now enhance the prospects for the forthcoming drilling of the HH-2z horizontal section."

Scotgold article in Midas Share Tips and Scotgold MCAP £26M and rising bodes well for Alba's Welsh Gold..

Alba's recent presentation, Welsh Gold progression and Scotgold's near term production could start to see value added to Alba share price.
