Andrada Mining acquisition elevates the miner to emerging mid-tier status. Watch the video here.
David, not in public hands = free float.
Shares that are available to be traded by the mm's.
The companys knows the ii's who declare their holding and have access to the share register so the free float is the difference to whats known and whats in issue.
Change the subject aaroon, that helps.
The bod are telling the market that the company is not worth investing in....in fairness i do think nick and katie have shown a fair bit of candor over the years but none of the rest have and their the ones taking the huge money.
Yes, they will lap up the free shares but put their hand in their own pocket....not on your nelly:)
There could be a myriad of reasons.....why did qualcomm not put any money in!
Who is right.....cfp and the bod:)
Turning point my ass....you could have written the same post in 2016.
1. Shares are tightly held....so where does that fit in with lombards 150m taking 10m quid off the table.
2. Could it be that see over egged the pipeline to assist lombards profit.
3. Aviation deal....the white elephant rears its head again, millions of money raised from the market to chase a pipedream that can never be profitable
4. Bdms.....dream on, any money here would not even pay the bod's salary for a month, its a gimmick.
5. When they get to year end the market might realise even more that the companies business model is pants and there can never be any serious profits with an overhead and consistent r&d of that nature.
6. One word - artifice
7. You're not serious are you....so barnden, menon and shareholders here understand the market yet analysts who make their living from being precise and have access to worldwide information dont have a clue....i doubt it:)
I dont get it.....are people here being deliberately obtuse.
The bod are telling you....they wont put their own money in here, why should you!
Looks like the see bod are still partying for the new year.....be nice to be in a position to have an extended holiday when you feel like it.
Most of the see shareholders are now resigned to working until their well into their 70's, keep them fit anyway:)
Happy new year all....lets hope its a good one!
Personally, i think i should be the winner of the see hat.
Baxter may have won the table competition but i have called the see progress right for years and the 'guy' for our november bonfire needs a hat......as the company wont have made much progress before then i would think that most of the old codger shareholders would be in favour of its use.
Lewbo might even offer to be our firestarter:)
Why you having a dig at me Lewbo....ive not mentioned magna for ages:)
All these big hitters on here with their millions of shares hoping pmg can pull a rabbit out of his hat need to start praying he pulls his dough out of that big wallet.
It's a new year soon and it should be full of action....get the gloves off:):)
Well done wilson, get back on the pints because that waccy baccy you have been smoking is making you halucinate at 2.40.
Happy New Year all:)
I realise its hard for some people to admit that they are wrong.
No-one argues that share options are part of renumeration but you either dont know how they work....unlikely.
Or you were trying to mislead by making it look like pmg was taking part in a salary swap.
Educate yourself or start telling the truth!
Dont rest your case.....admit that the statement below was completely wrong or we can accuse you of deliberately trying to mislead?
You accuse me of not being able to understand accounts when you made the statement below...dont make me laugh:):):)
A third of his salary is being paid in shares and if the shares fail to perform he gets paid less shares'
Lol chutz....i openly invite this big man to keep a note of what iv'e said for discussion at a later date, or how about he contacts me to review the last 10 years:)
I dont think so and history shows that generals who lead their men to slaughter seem to disappear before the battle begins in earnest.
Being compared to Kim Jong Un is quite something, although im not sure he would agree with my favourite saying.
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.
Its nearly a new year, demand more from your bod or you are complicit in their lack of focus on you:)
I dont know if std is all in here but he is probably well over leveraged and i suspect a lot of SEE shareholders are.
Thats a massive problem on aim and with companies like see who exist for 20+ years on potential which gets elevated periodically.
Holders get into thinking that its only a matter of time....so they sell other holdings and month after month put everything they have left of their salary in like they are putting it in the bank.
This is where it is imperative to see a bod put their own cash into the company and the more the better.....the share option argument just does not cut it unless the bod own a high percentage of the company in the first place.
The market is totally non plussed toward share options but it does not like a bod who wont commit to sharing the risk.
If haveagooday gives me a tip for a horse...should i bet it if he's not having a pound on the nose:)
Yes, i can echo that nathan:)
Wishing all a very merry christmas and happy new year for when it comes x.
Let's see what this bod have in store for you next year but will leave you with this famous quote...
Be more interested in the people than how a business works:)
Nothing doing down the ship last night, everyone too busy with xmas but i will be over the star later and will get the gos for sure.
For me its not a question of profit....see could easily put themselves in profit now and it would be a dwaddle in 18 months.
Its about the bod intention for the business....as it stands they are taking fortunes out and not putting any back in so while people here might argue that the options align them, i would say not.
The free shares that they have been issued, the options that they can take up if they choose will always be there but they are making themselves millionaires through massive salaries.
The products might be high margin but they are low value so your turnover needs to be huge to support such an overhead.
Can they get there....probably, but how long will it take and what will it look like, then what do they do.
Im not one for agreeing that their salaries and reward are fair and justifiable but that discussion is so convaluted its not worth having.
They are an aim company who have taken more than their fair share of cash from the market over the years which currently outstrips the market cap.
The bod need to give the market a sign that they mean business for everyone and not just themselves or its market value will drift and maybe even the company.
Anyway....holidays are coming, enjoy:)
Mid 21.....wow, i wish you luck!
Yes, that is not good.....they would have been as well to flog that company but directors dont like to give up on cash cows.....they would rather screw over unsuspecting shareholders.
Anyway, im off down the ship....will ask the question.
Easy to get 17.5 up front when you knock it off the sale price.....as i recall he made the same type of deal with qualcomm a few years ago for 5m.
This bod will do anything to get cash and that has been going on for years and will continue.
Had to smile at sipps comments re in 3 years he has steered the company in the right direction.
Before we get to that.....can we agree that for 20 years their performance was rubbish?
Sipps,
The original post stated that a third of his salary was being paid in shares and if the shares fail to perform he gets paid less shares......is that correct?
