Going to be an interesting half hour
Doc there was a rumour also on ADVFN. NOt my posting. So rumours yes.
This could be teh reason for the USA rumours coming in. Something is stirring.
Has anyone here heard the rumour that America is about to place a large order?
This has come from a source I’m not to sure about so just looking for confirmation.
5 years has been mentioned in the past.
Might happen.
I remember when Russia announced their vaccine results. They clearly hadn't worked it out correctly because it meant that the number of people tested was about 97.4
Are we about to have news to send us into orbit?
Back in 2005 I jumped aboard EasyNet which was tipped to be bought by Sky for 125p on the Monday. I jumped aboard and watched the price decline the next day then settle at about 110p. On the Thursday at about 2.30pm the buys started to arrive. The screen became constant buy after buy. I spent all my cash on shares then went to my IG account and started to buy until I used up every spare last penny. The price climbed above 130p high above the 125p planned. The next morning the RNS came out. An offer had been made at 175p. That's how I feel today by that sudden jump. Something good is brewing here.
The big seller has suddenly stopped selling.
The USA has patented pretty much the complete Human genome. We discovered mot of it but they decided to patent it.
I was in Tils last year and did rather well with it but decided to sell up and move over here. Part of the reason was that they seemed to over promote their wares. I'm always careful about AIM companies where the execs pay themselves well even though the products are not making too much money etc. TILS seemed to do this and the over promotion rewarded them even further with their shares etc. Contrast to here where an RNS is almost grudgingly issued and when it is its not embroidered. TILS talks a good story but is it really? Apologies for being OT on SNG board.
I been thinking for a while as to why the Government have not been pushing treatments. Its all vaccines and nothing else. The only conclusion I've come up with is that the Gvernment is being run by big pharma. Big pharma have got their hand stuck in the treasury's pockets and keeps emptying them. Big pharma don't want a treatment because a constant need for their vaccines i good for them.
Prof Holgate has no doubt been pushing against a closed door and has tried the Independent interview, the Sky interview and now the top paper for buiness the FT. Todays declaration basically says we have a solution and people no longer need to be dying.
Lets hope that it gets taken up by the media or even the Labour party to start putting pressure on the Government and stop people needlessly dying.
Coincidentally the DT's Questor section had SNG as a sell just after Capital announced their short. Clearly the DT is the first port of call for shorters.
If the price were to be a Billion pounds per treatment then I doubt we would sell more than a handful if at all.
In America where they pay the highest prices in the world for medicines Doctors will prescribe the best known treatments because they don't want to be sued. Price is therefore a little bit more flexible compared to the NHS.
The NHS tries to treat everyone in the best way but they also want to keep costs down. If a new treatment achieves a cost cut then the NHS is very happy.
SNG at £2,000 appears expensive yet its potential to save the NHS millions is very clear. 80% of patients will leave hospital about 5-8 days earlier than if they had not had SNG001 saving on total costs per patient. That is our strength here. More bangs for your bucks as our American cousins would say.
I'm sure all of us have been transfixed by the utter collapse of the EU 29 days after the UK left. Its response to the vaccine meyhem as it suddenly realised it had screwed up so blamed the UK instead. The mess it made of its contract, the riots in Holland and potential for civil unresst throughtout the EU. The bullying threat of stopping the UK receiving 3.5m Pfizer jabs. One German scientist clains that those jabs could save 15000 lives in the EU. No doubt he forgot to mention the 15000 lives that would be lost in the UK not receiving those jabs? Wars have been fought for less. Then the utter shambles of invoking section 16 for a hard border in order to stop the UK receiving any EU vaccines and actually trying to grab UK produced vaccine ahead of the UK. The EU have behaved far worse than Trump a figure they supposedly despised yet an example they now follow. All this over a vaccine, which in itself is a scatter gun approach to keeping the virus at bay.
What next though for therapeutics? When you think about it therapeutics are a more targeted approach to fighting the virus. They are used only on people who have the virus and are most at risk of death etc. WHat will happen when Governments suddenly find they have a tool to treat the worst effects in about 80% of cases? A treatment which removes most of the fear of catching the virus etc. Hopefully it should help restore normality along with vaccines. We all sit here holding that golden ticket and knowing that governments can fall if they screw this up. What will happen when one government makes the first order here? WIll there be another bunfight like vaccines?
So what next?
