Listen to our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode 'Uncovering opportunities with investment trusts' with The AIC's Richard Stone here.
Very slow news flow today, seems that some may be getting bored............
Anyway, Friday tomorrow
Off for my second walk today, trying to get 3 a day, so around 6 miles.... covid belly was starting to show over my 3.5 pack!!!

Bunsie
C7,
That is great, keep moving, stimulates things that other beers cannot, haha
The good thing about exercise is that there is a "feel good factor" too.
LL has the right approach , with an added bonus at the end of the walk, diluted bills and supporting the local community
I guess we are all trying to cope under really weird circumstances.
I think this year will be a write off year for my travels, maybe even into next year.
I have flights booked with Virgin Atlantic for October 2020 and April 2021 to Miami, will they happen, I don't think so.
Then when I get depressed I think about Ruck, who must be in constant agony, really not nice, so I then lighten up. Would not like to suffer Ruck's condition.
@ Ruck... you doing OK ?
LL,
Really nice reply to Inan's efforts from this morning.
He is at times a bit like Marmite, love him or hate him, but he has posted very good info over many years which has been invaluable to me on my investment here, he can IMO see the bigger picture beyond the "trading" scenario, just wish some would cut him some slack... don't even look at the rubbish on ADVFN with Mr stuck keyboard
Just my opinion though.
ATB
Inan,
And you got my euro millions correct, £4.80 less the £2.50 ticket, enough for an extra Naan bread for tonights curry.
I will stay with the science that you and some others post, rather than Nom, etc.
Have a great Saturday evening all.
ATB
Morning Inan,
Many thanks for such a sterling effort on putting the pieces together, interesting speculation, hope you can say "I told you so" sometime in the future.
BTW I won on the Euromillions Tuesday, could you tell me how much I've won? As Nom suggests you can mind read!
ATB
Hey Ruck,
Times seem tough for you, very sorry to hear that, really.
I think most of us are struggling with the current situation, I have my "ups" and "downs" but try to push through it.
You take care as we all should .
I think this BB would support you if needed, I certainly will, just let me know.
Don't know how to send you my personal email though, perhaps other posters could help me on that.
ATB
Inan,
Reply from HSBC, so I have dipped out of any excess shares.... low battery bunsie
The company have stated that we must have a certain amount of
applications for the excess shares, as we cannot guarantee that
all holders of SCLP within HSBC InvestDirect will apply for
excess shares we cannot offer this to share holders.
Inan,
I thought Vitamin D3 helps to modulate the immune response, so can upscale and downscale. In the case of Covid19 and the cytokine storm it would down regulate, that's how it came over to me anyway
ATB
I'm sure you will have something to say on it though!
Still waiting on HSBC re excess shares!
Inan,
I will take it up with HSBC in the morning, as I am happy to take perhaps their pool allocation up to my max investment level, not certain where that may lie though, 1M 2M who knows. I'll post once I have the definitive on it. HSBC is certainly not the best platform.
