IntelliAM aiming for significant growth with £5 million Aquis IPO. Watch the video here.
Jim - Apologies - I had assumed they would ship in from wherever, and then isolate for the required time and then be helicoptered in from the safe base and that journey would be non-domestic.
I was not meaning they would each get choppered individually. Never worked on a rig so no experience. I was trying to nullify the suggestion folks would be unable to travel. I would imagine the staffing will be nominated soon if not already so will need to isolate prior to heading off.
We will not be producing in the Bahamas for a long time - if ever as BPC in my head.
The production will be from the T&T, Suriname etc.
As other posters have re-iterated several times already - short term price fluctuations and Covid restrictions will not stop us from drilling. Plenty of other things could of course.
The mention of travel restriction should certainly not be a concern as staff will be helicoptered in and not via domestic travel channels.
All will be known within a couple of weeks - stay safe all B ;@)
I also heard that and though it may have been a slip of the tongue - as per the T&T project the website reads as follows : -
Across BPC’s existing assets the production averages 400-450 bopd. The Company has
increased the production baseline target to 500 bopd. Management is currently working on a prioritised list of activities, including increasing workover frequency and proactive interventions, to reduce well downtime and drive the baseline
production to above this target by the end of the year.
So my assumption would be they wish to drive the baseline production from 500 to 2,500 bopd.
Of course it is an assumption and nothing else.
a fantasy world that so many posters like to play along with ;@)
I am not getting the 'tiz' about lockdown - perhaps due to filter.
Lockdown has demolished my pre-Christmas sales events and of course the revenue that would have given.
Not just the UK mind you. Of course the US is not locked down - they are in the midst of an election and anyone caught up is collateral damage.
Now back to the Bahamas - they are streamlining entry https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/the-islands-of-the-bahamas-announces-updated-travel-and-entry-protocols-301164312.html
Not that any change in stance for entry and exit to and from the Bahamas will bother our team of drillers. They will not need to go anywhere near to a point of entry as the site is closer to the Cuban border.
This month should see a little action for news - perhaps not lots, but each will have an impact. 15th November has been a date we need to look out for.
44 days to 15th December - the clock is ticking a little too quickly these days.
....and because you left it wide open - may I be the first to say "Why change the habit of a lifetime?" tic and no malice.
As for the question of why - Eytan some months ago gave another interview and made mention of the majors hovering around.
Eytan mentioned that any farminee would be paying much bigger money should they come in post drill.
As Jim and Star have alluded to - there is a difference in "knowing" and "there is a chance it might be".
You may remember the furore on this board at the merger of BPC and CERP.
Now imagine the to-do in a large company if there was a suggestion of an all-share buy out on a whim.
It is sod's law that I had just booked and paid for new events for House Of Ruhr which may get cancelled - could be worse of course. 5hit happens and the market will always be there for me. Just have to pivot another way.
Stay safe all and enjoy the weekend even though it is blowing a hooley where I am. ;@)

The comparison was suggested merely as Exxon has been in the area. Rex Tillerson, with Exxon, was based in the Bahamas prior to becoming one of the first to be sacked by the Trumpster.
Exxon has also been mentioned by a few of the commentators on here as a potential suitor.
If you look at the shares in issue, they are not a million miles away from BPC - at time of posting (and that remains the same) I had not checked on the acreage nor their total BOO within their acreage to form a direct comparison.
Exxon is currently working not a million miles away and had our initial drillship away.
They are drilling for oil and are very successful at it. The fact that BPC has not even got a drill anywhere near the glory hole should make one understand that it could not be a direct comparison as two completely different fish - I was certainly not comparing eggs with eggs, however, the chat with Malcy yesterday certainly had our two fellas in a happy frame of mind.
Unlike Jim Bowen - this is not a case of "This is what you could have won!!"
More a case of there MAY be potential to get the jackpot.
Just for consideration/Comparison - Not sure of the acreage nor the combined reserves for Exxon versus the high-end estimates for the Bahamas and eventually Uruguay.

The pair of them looked positively smug at times in my opinion. It was as it things were a given. Very confident throughout. Would be nice to receive a very late RNS today though nothing to suggest there will be one.
Further to my last - as the Hurricane season will be starting July - that would be the rationale for commencing further exploration in late 2021 early 2022.
keith1 - my take on it was the second well will be 2021/22.
The agreed date of supply of the vessel was between 15th December and early February, however, Stena had stated they want to arrive early in that window - therefore we will spud before Christmas.
....whilst anticipated .77 billion as a low estimate for P1 - Eytan suggests even at a much smaller amount 200 million would suffice even at these current low oil prices.
Tantalising for sure - I thought both looked very relaxed throughout the interview and very positive.
I remember a poster the other day saying he could not get through to the office - perhaps as the chaps were saying, their phones have been quite busy.
Lol - I may as well be - Been here for over 500 weekends already - another won't harm haha.
As has been said before - there are several updates due at any moment.
Would it be too early to say they will be here soooooooooooooooooooooooooooon?
I do believe that news in imminent ;@)
Seriously, we should learn more abChristmas. Hopefully this stuff will be available on the Malcy blog posting later.
....is there a company trading on the London exchange that makes tin foil hats as well as flat earths?
I jest of course and that is the last of that - time for some serious business to be discussed lol.
Hopefully the recording from yesterday's backslapping interview will be made available pretty soon in order we can all digest, make an opinion and post it here.
It is rapidly approaching the weekend and I will be remaining in over the weekend.
Stay safe - let's all be nice to each other and if all else fails, enjoy your weekends. B ;@)
It is a hard slog mate, especially as a new start initially relying on the hospitalty sector for custom. Onwards and upwards though.
I think it will be invite only - I also have the 'host has another meeting in progress'
.....not sure what it smells of though.
Could it be roses?
Could it be 5hit?
Or could it be there are roses that have just been fed with fresh manure?
We do have to remember, of course, that the world is a 5hit sandwich at the moment and bourses are reacting accordingly. No wonder there is so much interest in landing on Mars/Moon where the extremely, very rich will be able to set up camp and watch the carnage via webcam lol.
I am waiting with bated breath for this interview, though certainly not holding my breath for a late release RNS just prior to the presentation.
I am pleased that today's SP has recovered half of yesterdays loss.
Stay safe all - ;@)
I too think Keith posted in error. Not Keith's usual posting strategy FWIW
