Have put into BRH.
Quite simple...
TB said 2021 will be a big year for IQAI.
Just saying.
-- BB - -
if this wiggles you, look at his BRH sells and buys ...!
-- BB --
i honestly do believe that he is going to retire from BRH and just focus of IQAI ... I fully intend to carry on buying IQAI ...
he has not done anything "predictable" though ...
his investment in iqai is huge .... i just cannot see him abandoning it ....
-- BB --
not sure that would be good for him - pushing the 30% threshold.
anyway - he just played all the games a couple of weeks ago by selling and "buying" ... why would he want the hassle?
all i do feel is that IQAI is his baby ... and it's his legacy ... he doesn't need the money really ...
you should read up on some of this "beliefs" through the philosophies he follows ...
quite interesting ...
-- BB --
when i was neck deep in #RRE (oil stock), the CEO did this all the time.
the sp was 50p and these was a special dividend of £1.50 ... he did rather well out of that!
anyway, my point is that these special dividends are a way of "thanking" investors, giving back to the BOD and keeping the share in the spotlight ...
BRH is lucky that it has so many investments ...
I was expecting a special divi of around 5 - 6p tbh ... so am perplexed but pleased for all shareholders..
-- BB --
nope ... that's basically it!
-- BB --
but IQAI is.
He still owns just under 30% .. and is his "legacy" to humanity ...
-- BB --
Bel,
Look at how TB is dealing with his other investments (BRH etc) ... he is clearing the decks.
He has not sold IQAI ... it's his baby.
Hang in there.
-- BB --
Holy moly
-- BB —
Please let me know if I have read it right..
-- BB - -
been here since the Ice Age ...
it's a snakes & ladders stock ... BUT ... we are up on the top 1/3 of the board now ...
a wee more patience is needed.
if you don't need the money - hibernate for winter and all will be good
-- BB --
thank you!!
-- BB ---
sorry, am an interloper from another TB share ...
just how much is the cash pile in BRH?
thanks - BB -
drax, unless you know better/more than the RNS postings - IQAI walked away from one potential partner immediately ... and decided not to sell to the other after being low-balled.
your post is rather disingenuous ...
however, I do agree that talk of a t/o is premature.
AI needs more prominence .... which will only happen post-COVID
-- BB --
not AIM
-- BB --
Philip has been a great supporter of IQAI since inception.
He has always been quite positive of the share because he has followed it during its lows & highs.
He is an LTH ... and is excited about its prospects.
-- BB --
well before that ...
-- BB --
In Rob's defence, TB does buy & sell shares in all his companies, topping-up where he sees profit in the future - as he has done with RMS and BRH. It looks flighty BUT actually is just good business sense.
However, TB is fully committed to IQAI and its just not TB ... the other Directors are leaders in their field of AI. Time for FDA etc would not be wasted if there was not a market for it ...
AI IS the future - look at the investment by Google Health - and GAD-free is the present ...
I have been here since the Flying Brand days and will be here until we are snaffled up.
-- BB --
Graham what's-his-name opined that Kistos will do a deal 1st Qtr and close it in the 2nd Qtr ...
LBE MUST be close now ... !
RRE took over a YEAR t o close its first deal
