No, I am still holding for the next few months. I don't know if you read my previous posts, I bought in Nov and was very positive about Vast despite researching and knew about AP's history. I felt in Nov when I invested that the worst was over with Vast. And then we had the placing which was totally unexpected and then the vague RNS about the bank finance.
in an incompetent CEO and BOD from what I can see. Of course, in AIM or in any investment the capital is always at risk but losing money in a company like this is not the way to go down. If we go down we want to go down fighting.
As per AP the earnings from the first delivery was in line with the expectations which points to the estimates done by Craig Harvey on 7 Sept 2020. I just checked for you and the estimated net revenue for the first 3 months was $1,869,728 and net profit (SURPLUS AFTER DEVELOPMENT) was $418,149.
So the first sale could be less than $1 million is my guess. No one knows the exact figure as AP has chosen not to submit. My guess the exact figure will be much smaller hence why AP has chosen not to publish.
@wildtiger, in the last hour there are many sells and some high value sells. Most buying will be new to Vast who saw a massive price drop and taking a chance. If I could speak to them my strong advise will be do not invest in Vast until further RNS on how AP plans to take this company forward. He has tried everything a CEO in entitled and allowed to do so in 3 years time.
It is high time AP finds something else to do and Vast finds a competent CEO who is willing to take less than £230K which is AP's present salary.
@Sarah, there are lots of shares being sold. In regards to why not everyone is selling (including myself) at 0.11 is who wants to make a loss on their capital without knowing what AP & Vast is planning next. To take this company down even more or have they learned on the job (so to say) and know what to do to turn this company around.
In regards to the how high can the Vast shares rise (if we continue to hold our investment): my estimate is 1p by end of 2023 and this is based on major assumptions that everything will go in Vast's favour from this point on. And that does look very unlikely with the recent events (keeping one eye on Vast's 3 years of history).
Yup @MU345, totally agree with you. +ve RNS that Vast found massive diamonds in a polymetalic mine called BP. And Vast SP rockets past Bitcoin's recent surge.
How about that hey?
Vast is a disaster until we hear what is AP's and BOD's plan to turn this company around. At the moment, this company is not being run competently. If this continues, worst case will be Vast will have to file for bankruptcy.
There will never be a deal with this international bank even after the expected restructuring and what this restructuring means. All lies that bank will have a look at Vast again post restructuring.
If you want to lose money then invest in Vast. DO NOT invest in Vast until we have further RNS will a proper plan.
@Fantasy, your comments may be perceived by some as negative (I don't find them negative) but they are facts that you are sharing and if anyone don't like facts then they can chose to ignore. Even before the diamonds, wasn't there this gold deal in Zimbabwe. How was that managed? Shambles on that one too I heard.
I wouldn't trust the RNS @fingerscrossed. How long do you think it will take Vast to complete the restructuring/consolidation? A couple of months at least or sooner or longer. Let's talk when Vast actually does something credible.
@Mark, I thought about your comment again and I agree with you it will be life changing for but the worse. I have a good heart and I have empathy for anyone who lose their hard earned money. I did read your comments yday and I can see you are heavily invested in Vast. I hope you break even and not make a loss.
Andy I see your point about long term growth. But there is a MAJOR IF, do you really trust AP???????? Now I don't. Vast will have to lots and lots of things right, copper prices have to hold their high values for at least a couple of years (which I think it will) then we stand a chance of seeing something like 1p by the end of 2023.
All other Vast's assets are worthless at this point to us investors. They may have value for Vast itself.
My advise: if you are reading this don't put anymore money in Vast for at least next 6 months.
Seriously Mark, give us a break. We all deserve one from your unrealistic and over optimistic comments. I am still holding my investment but I wouldn't advise anyone new to invest in Vast for at least the next 6 months as there is an extremely high probability of losing capital with Vast.
AP and Vast to me look totally confused at this point in time with no clear strategy (investor's should have SERIOUS CONCERNS over AP and Roy and their integrity). I say this from the recent RNS about restructuring. Didn't they know bank is going to look at all this? After all, this was a Tier 1 bank. C'mon, what an incompetent BOD and Senior Management these lot are.
For my day job, I do commercials, risks, road maps & strategies (of course not in the mining sector).
totally on point @gbjoeblogs. with this restructure which we will find out as and when RNS is out, who knows what will happen. I am holding for now but wouldn't suggest anyone new to buy this stock as there is way too much risk for what returns. There are other stocks one can buy.
