i tend to agree with OB,
i'm happy to stay invested as i invested in the company for its long term goals, as well as investing in its staff which i trust,
it is quite simple, if you are not satisfied with how the current board of directors, or any board of directors in any company you are invested in are doing then sell up and move on. moaning and worrying is not good for your health
i am not going anywhere with my shares,
everyone who invests should do their own research before committing
i think personally that southerninvestor is deliberately trying to lower the SP, playing the game going from committed investor to an uncertain investor trying to influence others, only 26 posts and has come form nowhere, are we sure its not Porky in disguise
there is a link to it on cenkos website here, but you may need to register once there

i've seen the posts but i am suspicious of the riddler as he likes a ramp, SD has not confirmed to any long term share holders who have e-mailed her that a deal will be signed this month as far as i am aware,
we will have to wait and see.
@Jim,
fair point, although i doubt THx will be funded by retail investors, its more likely funded through defined finance channels they currently have working relationships with, (Private equity partners) and not listing THx on the open market, and subsequently not relying on share issues to the open market to raise cash, but only time will tell.
the other point i'd make is that the dozens of companies referred to all lost value following the IPO's, however VAL have seen a sustained growth over the last 2 years in terms of Market Cap, even though there is still along way to go to get to what i believe the true potential of AL is
i did read an article on this earlier, however i didn't take much notice of it mainly because VAL only have 65m shares which is a very low number compared to most biotech companies, and as we know there is a large percentage of these shares that are held by long term holders who are not selling them and abandoning VAL.
I think last time we tried to get a consensus we reckoned over 80% were in long term holders possession
@Porky
RE: your comment
"IF PotlessIX secure the seed funding they need, Valirx get a token payment. Based on the CENKOS report, you can all read it, not me making it up, the company is out of cash circa end of MAY."
you are incorrect, the cashflow simulation based on the funding once signed shows no funds will need to be raised until then end of FY2022, which is actually the last QTR of 2023. it's in the report for all to see on page 46.
and of course this doesn't include any money they get from Cenko's warrants (approx 840k), which could be as early as this summer
the £10.8m that porky refers to is from the Government’s Getting Building Fund (GGBF) and is an amount towards the whole campus which is a much bigger project, over multiple phases, it is not the price of the Lab, Porky's statement is misleading

VAL are in the afternoon session
@OB,
i can hear the winging too if there's no news, but at the end of the day it doesnt really change anything in terms of what will happen in the longer term to the share price
@RB,
plenty of dry powder if really needed, currently adding with profits from other investments but conscious things can change
if it were me and the funding still hasn't been finalised I would give an update on the activity in getting 201 to trial in so far as how many vendors have been identifed/appointed and when the anticipated start is likely to be, this is what they have been working on with THX over the last few months, this is more than likely why SD is so confident the financing is not an issue, why do all of this if you are thx its not a goer.
if the agreement is signed an RNS would have to come out first, you can't just announce this kind of news in an investor presentation, that said there would be nothing to stop the news being sent out simultaneously by RNS and presentation.
i've been adding shares as and when i can and will continue to do so. I carefully weigh up the risks and i am happy with VAL
I’ve only been here two years but building a nice total, not as many and as long as some others, I do feel for some of you who have been here from the start but sometimes things take time,
At the end of the day I think the light is getting closer to the end of the tunnel and from what I can tell at the moment sunrise is a share to be in with a deal likely to happen in the not too distant future
Let’s hope for everyone’s sanity it’s sooner rather than later
Since the Suzie took over the only ones to lose have been the traders potentially looking for a quick win, those of us who have invested long term because of the new BOD have not lost out, we have seen a steady gain overall albeit with a couple of spikes over the last couple of years
I’m here for at least another 3 to see the benefits of the current strategy , of course this is only my opinion
It’s great to see the positive posts on this forum again, things are moving in the right direction and personally I think it’s great to be invested in what I think will be a great green company with some great assets.
Patience will see us through
@JT
as you know, there are quite a few of us who have large holdings and do not wish to sell any time soon, these are the sticky hands, however a broker is able to "borrow" and "lend" these shares that they hold on your behalf if they feel the risk is low enough, however there does come a time when that risk is too high for them to do this due to the large amount of shares that are still owned by someone else, as the risk is that they decide to sell them themselves.
There are however two ways to prevent your broker from doing this with your shares,
1. request a share certificate for your shares, you then own them, the downside to this is that you can't trade them quickly
2. request that your broker does not lend or borrow your shares - however most broker terms and conditions you signup to on some of the platforms will allow the broker to borrow, - Some brokers will agree not to sell borrow them and some won't
hopefully that helps out a little
As a long term investor i am not very interested in the day to day SP, i'm more interested in the longer term outlook and growth of the company which will ultimately reflect in an increased MC, for this reason i have invested a substantial amount of cash into VAL as i do see long term success, with the TheoremRx deal being the first of many,
I am anticipating news on BC201 next and the next deal to be 401 (this year) based on comments previously made by SD.
but even if news is slow I'm not selling and happy to wait it out.
Here's to a fantastic 2022 for all investors in Val
