Do people realise the vaccine dues to stop infection and doesn’t stop transmission? So far it has only been demonstrated to reduce hospital admissions and severity of symptoms. Testing is still required on a large scale; this vaccine doesn’t stop you catching the virus it just helps reduces the health risks associated with catching it.
The sell off on the back of this refusal is bigger than any previous in my experience of UKOG. I suspect many holders are done with this now. It’s sad because once upon a time I really believed in the UKOG dream but simply couldn’t take any more damage to my portfolio so cut my losses.
No longer invested but watching with interest. In all other SCC planning meetings I have watched this guy knew his stuff. He should do as he as an ex. council Planning department leader / head. He’s very clear that objection has to have merit on planning grounds and not simply because somebody doesn’t like the idea.
Refer to Points 37 onwards for testing plans. Plenty to go at yet I think.

Savvy6 I’ve often thought that if MM need shares to fill an order why don’t they put the price up; like a reverse tree shake. Shares seems to be the only thing where the price falls when there is demand; in every other traded item or service the price goes up as demand increases. To me that is what makes it feel a little corrupt because they are giving huge discounts to their city chums at the expense of PIs. It is not a level playing field!
Do you think the UK Government is building new testing mega labs because the vaccine will solve the pandemic on its own? The virus is going to be here for a long time, the long term immunity of the vaccine is unknown, the virus is mutating (NCYT are very good at reacting and developing new tests), testing will go hand in hand with the vaccination program - see it as a massive study to assess the effectiveness of the vaccines, the vaccination program will take over 12 months to reach the target patient cohorts, public confidence in the vaccine safety is relatively low so might big be insufficient take up meaning virus can still spread quickly.
The vaccine is not a threat to those diagnostics companies that have products on the market but only to those who have not yet launched as they might be too late now.
