Thanks Banjo.
They'll be an EGM when the deal is ready to present to the shareholders. What would be the point of one before? What resolutions would there be?
IC Gotech is up strongly today, maybe Akers is in the market for more shares. Personally, I'd rather he spent his time sorting out something for Concha!
Thanks for the info. Thomas Hoyer maybe?
The rise yesterday seemed to happen after Akers took a stake in Gotech(GOT).
I think you misread something there.
The last finals give a good summary. Don't forget it's under rule 15 - so need a deal before April 3.
I wouldn't read much into that. Hoyer was tagged on the end with the other new people. The other photos have been reorganised and he's missing. Maybe he had it removed because it looks like a conflict of interest.
The Sloane website shows a few new people: Nicolas Arboleta taken from Norton Rose Fulbright, Thomas Hoyer is still a director of Red Leopard, David Hibbs as I said before along with Rick Robson (finance). So they're spending money and getting ready to roll. Won't be long imo. http://sloaneeg.com/
seem to be tweeting a lot atm. Must be going "live" soon surely?
I'm not that worried, though I would like to know who Capital Resources Inc. are. They're supplying $20m but I can't find any company registered in the world that remotely fits.
True enough, just lacking confidence as time moves on, lol. Logically it looks good. Sloane seem to be confidently moving along and committing to the project before the finance is in place. I guess they want to hit the ground running.
Technically, they could rns at 7.00 and be trading again at 8.00 but they said they would wait for shareholder approval at a egm. Of course if it gets cancelled then we'll need to relist which could take a few extra weeks. There's a La Luna Mining set up in Barbados, I would guess it's connected. They've appointed this guy in Jan https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidwhibbs/ Sloane preparing or have they got another deal? I guess we have to grin and bare it for a couple of days.
When (if) the rto is done Sloane will own maybe around 80%, new money will own 10% and we the last 10%. or it could be 85,10,5 or 80,15,5 etc. So Sloane will be in control and probably provide directors for rlh, with current directors standing down and a rename. I wonder how Sloane intends to finance their other projects. Maybe the smaller coal project could be included in the RTO. I think we'll know very soon!
Probably not their place to talk about rlh which is still under SE rules.
A website has appeared. http://sloaneeg.com/ Note Bob Finch is chairman so that confirms the Talis connection along with Tom Williams. "What we do" has La Luna as the main project. Nothing much else.
Thanks Red. I've had experience with John May and he is a nice chap, so let's see what happens next week. We're bound to hear something, surely?
All shells are different. avp never even suspended, just called a meeting and became evrh. Others end up cancelled and come back a year later. I can't find much here other than this. Luna Energy Ltd, possibly a holding company for the asset, was set up in Sept and owned by Sloane, they have a director from Talis Capital, Tom Williams, and Rohini Finch (Talis) is representing Sloane's holding (1 share!). Talis was set up by Bob Finch who was a coal man! None of which connects to Red Leopard. I notice that Luna Energy have just extended their account year - irrelevant other than at least someone was thinking about something! At least it wasn't a strike off action! Oh - who the hell is Capital Resources Inc? Maybe a group of investors?
This link appears to refer to someone (Norton Rose Fulbright?) talking in December. http://www.portafolio.co/economia/exportaciones-de-carbon-habrian-crecido-en-valor-513318 The important bit translated says: He said that by 2018 there will be no major new projects, but he clarified that they will begin to speak with greater resonance of the project La Luna, of the company Sloane Energy. "Its title is adjacent to that of the El Descanso mine, developed by the Drummond company. It is the first large-scale project of underground operation and fully technified in coal production that advances the country. It is estimated that 4.2 million tons per year will be produced at maturity stage. The volume of extraction is similar to that of France and Hatillo, by Murray Energy, "explained Norton analyst Rose Fulbright. He added that the country currently produces between 90 and 91 million tons per year, and the Moon would represent 5% of that total coal production. So looks like someone is expecting it to go ahead.
He joined crnd on 19th October 2017 and resigned on 16th Jan after they got a loan. He's been an advisor more than a director in the past.
