The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with multi-award-winning fund manager and international bestselling author Lee Freeman-Shor has just been released. Listen here.
The MM like to make the most of any news as it helps promote trading. Usually more trading is derived from overdone drops on news as it shakes out the weak and invites the opportunist trader. Therefore if Mozambique is not a positive result for us, I would expect a disproportionate short term drop followed by a longer recovery. Overall the question for me has always been do I believe in the business model and the management to which the answer is yes I do and they are prepared to invest their personal wealth. Just looking in as I have started adding more in small amounts added another 1k today @ 9.245
Lbg - I was thinking the same on the timing not a issue though I think this has been overdone. The news was already out last week OBT have just clarified any impact on them in the RNS. The only thing for me is selling this morning and the timing of it. Will watching th selling for now and try a better timed purchase here. GL
I brought some at the end of last week to add to the effectively free shares I have here, which have just been left for over 2 years. I would never consider selling them as it would just feel wrong afterall it was this share back in 2013 which lead me to buy BMN shares which has been life changing. The Bod buys last week along with how much else they have invested is just too compelling for me to not add more.
Had better days and certainly had worse. Nevermind will see where we are in a year.
Bugger all. I meant to say, using an iPad I brought off a sailor
I don't have an issue with the shares I bought yesterday having dropped as I have no intention of selling. I do have an issue with an unfair playing field in regards to when shares are allocated as it provides an advantage to a few. Anyway dropped on bigger all so what a bargin

Angus Energy Plc ("Angus Energy" or the "Company") Lidsey X2 - Operations Update Angus Energy Plc, a conventional oil and gas production and development company, is pleased to provide an update to the Company's RNS of 13 October 2017. As per the Company's guidance, geochemical analysis of the Kimmeridge and Oxford layers at the Lidsey Oil Field were undertaken to determine their commercial viability. The Company is pleased to advise that the initial results conducted on the drill cutting samples from the 66.2 metres of Kimmeridge and 105.0m of Oxford layers indicate a strong similarity to the maturity of the Kimmeridge layers at Brockham Field. In terms of temperatures at the time of maximum burial, which is an important factor in the generation of oil, the historical temperatures were encouragingly higher than anticipated given the location of the Lidsey Field in the Weald Basin. Indeed, analysis of Tmax (maximum historical temperature seen by the rock) gave a range which overlapped with those seen in Brockham and an average temperature within 3 degrees (0.7 %) of those seen in Brockham. In addition, the TOC (total organic content) was virtually the same within experimental error. The geochemical evaluations were performed by the same third party organization that provided the same analysis on the drill cuttings at Horse Hill and Brockham. Further to the Company RNS of 13 October 2017, the BDF-28 drilling rig has now been fully demobilised. The Lidsey-X2 well has been prepared for production after completing the installation of the flowlines from the well head to the storage tanks, pump and other necessary equipment. The Company's guidance for actual production has been adjusted by seven days. After the trial operation of the pump mechanism carried out last Friday, the pump experienced a minor technical difficulty requiring repair and is currently being repaired prior to the well going in to full service. Angus Energy still expects to put Lidsey-X2 into full production this week. The Company will perform testing to optimize production rates and provide an update in due course. Paul Vonk, Manging Director, Commented: "The initial geochemical test results from the Kimmeridge and Oxford are a pleasant surprise. Their similarity to our Brockham Oil Field BR-X4Z well in the north of the Weald Basin shows that Lidsey has the potential to increase the footprint of the oil bearing Kimmeridge layers in the Weald. We look forward to putting the Lidsey X2 into production this week."
Not sure which one your thinking of but Bushveld (BMN) have a great income stream. I brought a few here at 0.3 not sure sure how long I will stay depends on what I find in further research but I do think there is more value than the current Mcap and I love to back the underdog.
Nice to wale upto. So much suddenly happening with my shares at the sametime. Happy days M
WOTW - No I phoned them yesterday and they will not do NEX even though I said, well they are running the risk I will move all my stocks and they can see I spend quite a bit with them. EP - Thanks I will have a look at Barclays.
I think it is about time I moved my shares from Halifax and make a top here before the real lift off. So I can get started can you recommend a quick and easy (ideally Online) Platform I can register with for NEX trading. Not so worried about moving my existing shares quickly but would be could to be able to start buying again. Many thanks
The laying off off people may well be true although I cannot find any news on it. What I can find is they are currently recruiting over 50 new roles, not in Sales and Marketing mostly Operations. The point being to put a balanced view you need to look at both sides unless it is just an opinion. My opinion based on some signs I have seen with other companies is that we could be looking at a merger or acquiistion in the not to distant future and as I was in at 8p not so long ago I will stay thanks as the balance of risk reward is still favourable for me to do so. Good luck to all with your own decisioning.
As tep1 mentioned big buys are still going through. Checkout the late reported trade for £45K at 9.10p. If they are going to drop this in chunks it will only be for someone to either buy in cheap and go long or to buy the company out completely. DYOR - and GL
The share price is not reflective of the real position. For those interested I can sell over £10k at 9.0975p and buy anywhere between £1k-£10K at 9.4p. So the real sp should be about 9.20p For reference at the time of posting LSE showing: SP9.00p Bid8.81p Ask9.96p GL
Blimey that is a large spread for this share, it is hardly going to encourage trading. Will see what next week brings. GL
Just a reminder of the consistent 100k buys going through each day many above the Ask at the time. I hope it is members of the council moping them up. GLA
NT = Negotiated Trade, it is often offered when a broker cannot proivde a quote at the time due to quick movements or poor liquidity of a share. My personal experience either buying or selling is to stay clear of an NT as you pass authority to the broker to execute the trade as the best possible rate. My experiences have taught me that it not the case. GL
I thought I would take a few £K this morning but it is not easy to get the shares at the moment, I settled for £750 in the end as anything else was NT and that took 15mins of refreshing the deal.
