I agree, theres no way a) the regulator will allow all them pensioners, some 20,000 of them to lose everything and b) the sp would still be relatively decent and holding up at these levels if there was serious doubt. you have to remember the sp was about 2p about 2years ago and that was before the sale of the european assets and the reduction in the debts of the company.
Any more news?
Down she goes to the original and true value of the company!
small movement in the sp this morning, is something a foot maybe? heres hoping!
Nice rise again, 25% up now, how high can we go?!
So the new comany starts trading 2moro? hope for positive movements then.
How much do you think the 62million new shares will dillute the current sp?
Thank the lord for that one! lol
Dead as a dodo!
no idea, no rns yet as far im aware!
Guess with the lack of news its gameover for us then?
Some nice slow movements upwards is something i like. Lets hope the pension regulator warms to the proposals and we should see this back to mid 20's.
Yes theres a placing but thats only for certain investors and theres been no word that its being offered to individual investors. Agree you can get a better deal through normal trading but you have to pay dealer fees but its my understanding that you dont pay fees on placings or rights issues. Is this correct?
Not sure whether i should pump more money into this and top up to lower my average, or would that be flushing more money down the toilet. Unsure which way to go!
No news isnt good news with this one!
This is not looking good at all!
Nothing as yet, deadline is looming though!
Id top slice some just in case the proposed re-payments come up short. The other problem with this company is the initial plan was to sell european assets and focus on uk market, with some speculation that it could be a takeover target from nothern foods, however the massive pension debt would put most companies off a takeover so were stuck repaying for the next 50 years!
Yes thats correct, this has been carried forward from the previous larger company that uniq used to be part of called Unigate. Its got some 21,000 milkmen as members.
Looks like the mad panic last week was a bit premature then, glad i held firm! My b/e is 11p so im happy at current levels anyway, but would be nice for this to be back to mid 20's again.
