Vedanta's Hindustan Zinc Business Declares Second Interim Dividend

LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed miner Vedanta Resources PLC said on Friday its Hindustan Zinc business has declared a second interim dividend of INR6.00 per share.

Along with the first interim dividend of INR2.00 per share, the aggregate dividend paid by Hindustan Zinc for the year will be INR8.00 per share, amounting to INR40.68 billion including the dividend distribution tax.

Of this, the contribution to the government of India will be INR16.86 billion.

Shares in Vedanta Resources were down 0.1% at 780.90 pence on Friday in London.
