UniVision Engineering Wins New Contracts Worth HKD8.4 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - Hong Kong based security and surveillance systems firm UniVision Engineering Ltd said Wednesday it has won new contracts worth HKD8.4 million in recent months.

This includes a contract with the Hong Kong government's highways department to design, supply, deliver, install, test and commission a closed circuit television system, and a maintenance contract with the Electrical and Mechanical Services department.

Additionally, the transfer of shares in UniVision's electrical and mechanical and property division Leader Smart Engineering Ltd into a new holding company as part of its de-merger has been completed. Its cash and cash equivalents following the de-merger is HKD11 million, it said.

Shares in UniVision are trading up 28% at 1.09 pence Wednesday afternoon.
