Restore welcomes back Charles Skinner as chief executive

Tue, 05th Sep 2023 12:18

(Alliance News) - Restore PLC on Tuesday welcomed back Charles Skinner as its chief executive officer, after four years out of the role.

Restore is a London-based provider of digital and information management and lifecycle services.

Skinner was CEO of Restore between 2009 and 2019. Prior to his ten years as CEO of Restore, Skinner was CEO of Brandon Hire PLC and CEO of Johnson Service Group PLC.

Skinner will take over from Jamie Hopkins, who has been interim CEO since July. Hopkins will continue as an executive director, "to facilitate an orderly handover of duties and also to maintain continuity for the board and shareholders during this transitionary period."

Sharon Baylay-Bell will step down from her role as executive chair and resume her previous role as non-executive chair.

Baylay-Bell said: "We are very pleased to appoint Charles and he brings a wealth of experience and an unrivalled understanding of Restore which will enable him to hit the ground running. Whilst Jamie will continue to play an important role as an executive director over the coming months, we wish to thank him for his brief but highly valued tenure as interim CEO and look forward to working with Charles to deliver maximum value for all our stakeholders."

Shares in Restore were up 2.5% to 176.25 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
