IN BRIEF: Regional REIT collects 90% of rent due for first quarter

Wed, 21st Apr 2021 14:05

Regional REIT Ltd - real estate investment trust focused on UK office and industrial property assets - Collects 90% of rent due for its first quarter. Says this consists of 85% rent received, monthly rents of 2.9% and agreed collection plans of 2.7%. Notes this is above the equivalent period in 2020, where 84% of rent was received.

"Our close working relationships with our occupiers across our geographically diversified portfolio has, in-line with our expectations, not only continued to ensure strong rent collection through this difficult period, but resulted in the company seeing an increase in the timing of rent received when compared with this time last year," says Stephen Inglis, chief executive of London & Scottish Property Investment Management, asset manager of Regional REIT.
