LONDON (Alliance News) - Infrastructure investment company HICL Infrastructure Co Ltd on Tuesday said it has acquired a 30% interest in the M1-A1 Link Road project from FTSE 250-listed peer Balfour Beatty PLC.

HICL has acquired the interest in the project, which covers a link road between Lofthouse and Bramham in West Yorkshire, for GBP14.5 million in cash.

The project is a 30-year shadow toll private finance initiative concession to design, construct, finance and operate the motorway link road.
