fastjet breaks passenger records for July

(ShareCast News) - Budget airline fastjet said it broke passenger records in July by carrying 71,763 passengers in a month.The Gatwick-headquartered airline which operates in Africa said it upped its previous record in April this year by more than 3,600 passengers.The July passenger number was up 36% on the same month last year. fastjet said its load factor for the month was 72%.fastjet said the increase in passengers was due to starting flights to Malawai and additional flights to Mwanza.
