(Alliance News) - Dukemount Capital PLC on Monday said work has now resumed at the Wavertree property project in Liverpool, England, following a temporary halt due to the government imposed restrictions to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The property developer said contractors at the Wavertree project have now returned to the site and most of the building materials needed for the coming weeks have been secured.
The Wavertree project involves the refurbishment of a large residential property for a housing association in the supported living sector which has signed a 30-year lease.
Dukemount Executive Chair Geoffrey Dart said: "I am pleased we are able to get the Wavertree contractors back on site and would ask shareholders to bear with us in these continuing difficult times.
Social distancing for the safety of the contractors is achievable at Wavertree and its success will be better understood in the coming weeks and also depends on government advice going forward."
Shares in Dukemount Capital on Monday closed at 0.99 pence each in London, up 10%.
