DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Clarkson Broker Head Sells GBP2 Million In Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed shipping firm Clarkson PLC said President of Brokerage & Investment Banking Peter Anker and a person connected to him sold 72,941 shares at a price of 2,750 pence per share on Tuesday.

Following this GBP2.0 million transaction, Anker now holds an interest in 159,559 shares in Clarkson, reflecting a 0.5% stake in the company.

Non-Executive Director Birger Nergaard sold 58,353 shares at the same price for a total of GBP1.6 million. Nergaard's holding is now 147,516 shares or 0.5% of the company's capital.

Shares in Clarkson closed down 1.1% at 2,770.00 pence each on Thursday.
