(Alliance News) - Blackrock Income & Growth Investment Trust said Wednesday that Chair Jonathan Cartwright will not be seeking re-election at the company's next annual general meeting scheduled to be held on March 12, 2020.
Cartwright intends to step down as a director of the company at the AGM's conclusion.
The investment trust has commenced a search process to appoint a successor Cartwright.
Shares in the investment trust closed at 191 pence each, down 0.5%.
