Afarak Temporarily Closes Turkish Mines Due To Strike

LONDON (Alliance News) - Afarak Group PLC Monday said its Turkish unit has temporarily closed down the Tavas and Kavak mines in the country after employees went on strike Sunday.

In a short statement, the company said its Elektrowerk Weisweiler GmbH processing plant in Germany has secured enough raw materials until the end of 2014.
