LONDON (Alliance News) - Tribal Group PLC Friday said it is in advanced negotiations on a number "significant" software contracts which it hopes to complete before the end of the year, while trading remains in line with its expectations for the full year.
The education and training support services provider said its pipeline of new customer contracts is "robust", given it prospects in the UK as well as in Asia Pacific, North America and South Africa.
"Our recent bolt-on acquisitions complement our pipeline of new customer contracts, and our investment in our international infrastructure and our product portfolio provide good underpinning for our growth into 2015 and beyond," said Chief Executive Keith Evans in a statement.
The group said that it is in advanced negotiations on a number of "significant international software contracts", most of which it said it expects to complete negotiations on before the end of 2014.
"Based on our expectation of contract completions and the achievement of key contract milestones before the end of the year, Tribal's trading remains in line with our expectations for the full year," it said.
Tribal, which has been re-positioning its Solutions business towards technology-based revenue, said its quality assurance activities in the UK and internationally are performing as expected.
It said internationally, its Higher Education business is performing well, with strong prospects in the UK.
Tribal said its student management systems activities in Asia Pacific continue to develop strongly, while its Australian Sky Software business, which it acquired back in March, is performing ahead of its expectations.
"In the UK, the Further Education college market has been relatively quiet, although the work-based learning market remains active," it said.
The group said its work in schools and children's services is in line with its expectations, while in Asia Pacific, its schools student management system business, Human Edge, which it acquired back in June is now fully integrated and performing well.
Tribal shares were up 1.5% Friday morning at 150.00 pence per share.
