"Electrocomponents, the electrical component distributor, has a clear strategy of expanding its product range, selling more of its products online and increasing its international footprint. (...) The company's international business now accounts for 70pc of sales - and it is showing sales growth of an impressive 25pc. Group eCommerce sales rose 37pc and now accounts for over half of revenues. The group also added a further 76,000 products to its range last year - and this will also help to boost growth. The shares are trading on a March 2011 earnings multiple of 14 times, falling to 12.5 in 2012. The shares are up 103pc since the initial tip on July 19 2009 at 140¼p, compared with a FTSE 100 up 35pc. The shares are still a buy", says Questor.Primarily a software business, Innovation uses technology to make call centres more effective (...) Superfluous layers of management were removed, costs were cut where necessary and substantial investment was made in the group's software systems. Interim results published last week showed that Roberts' efforts - and those of finance director Jane Hall - are paying off. Profits for the six months to March 31 more than doubled from £2.5m a year ago to £6.3m, there is cash in the bank of £29m and the group is confident about the year ahead. (...) The company operates in South Africa, America and Continental Europe and aims to develop in all these regions over the next few years both organically and through acquisitions", says the Financial Mail on Sunday´s Midas column, which also thinks that the shares are a Buy. "In Britain its vans are a familiar sight transporting money from shops to banks, but the group operates in 120 countries, providing services from straightforward security guards to sophisticated electronic safety systems. G4S also manages prisons, operates cash machines and even runs immigration centres. (...) In Britain and America, G4S expects to win more business as the economy recovers and governments on both sides of the Atlantic outsource security to save money. (...) Buckles is also confident about prospects in emerging markets, telling investors last week that these will account for nearly half the global security market by 2019", according to the Financial Mail on Sunday´s Midas column, which adds that, "(...) Investors may want to take some profit and sell a third of their stock, but keep hold of the rest as the group should continue to do well. New investors may want to pitch in too and hold the shares for the long term".
