LONDON (Alliance News) - FW Thorpe PLC Thursday said that it expects a reduction in traditional technology production in favour of LED, which is said should provide the business with further growth, as it widens its sales platform.
"The last financial year returned to our favoured pattern with a gradual and ongoing improvement in our business volumes and with no unexpected surprises," Chairman Andrew Thorpe said in an annual general meeting statement to shareholders, adding "The new year in which we currently find ourselves continues in the same vein to date and it is hoped that our fortunes will remain on this upward trend."
The company's stock was trading 2.2% higher Thursday afternoon at 138.00 pence.
